Laser clinic in Riccarton Mall, Christchurch.Rita is the manager. I had my ten Brazilian sessions last year. I went in for maintenance. She was efficient, polite and answered my numerous questions about maintenance and expectations for future hair growth and removal between visits. I highly recommend this clinic and in particular Rita.I'm 56 and a bit on the tubby side and I was made to feel completely relaxed and at ease
LCNZ Takapuna store is fantastic, I have had 7 sessions for my under arms. Best decision ever to stop shaving or waxing under arms, this is so much better!! My laser therapist is the best too. Knowledgeable, great at her work and very accommodating. I had shoulder surgery, so we had to adjust how she completed my under-arm laser, she was so kind and made it easy. I cannot speak highly enough of her.
Bad experience at the New Market branch Don’t buy anything from this store onlineI booked two special hair removal sessions online in November 2025 and selected “pay at the store” as my payment method. During my first session, the staff confirmed my second appointment but did not inform me that advance payment was required to lock in the promotional price. When I went for my second session yesterday, the staff was quite unfriendly and charged me the full price, even though the same 50% discount is still being advertised online. I find this store to be very unreliable and untrustworthy.
Laser Clinic, Newmarket NZ - I wanted to share some feedback regarding your cancellation policy. I completely understand and respect the requirement to provide 48 hours’ notice. However, there are situations that arise which are truly beyond a customer’s control.Most recently, I had to cancel last minute when my car battery died unexpectedly after I had accidentally left the door open overnight. On a previous occasion, I was caught in gridlocked Newmarket traffic and physically could not make it to my appointment despite my best efforts.I appreciate that policies are in place for good reasons, but as a long-standing customer who has spent significantly on both laser treatments and facials at your clinic, I find it disappointing that there seems to be little room for flexibility in genuine cases like these. I felt dismissed rather than supported when I called to explain.A more understanding approach would go a long way in maintaining loyalty and goodwill with your customers.
100% agree with the other reviews that say the Laser hair removal here does not work. I’ve had laser hair removal for years at other salons on several areas on my body, and I barely ever get any hair in these areas and only need occasional maintenance to keep it hair free, two years ago I changed clinics to go to the Laser Clinic (due to closer proximity) in that time, my hair has progressively grown back more and more. I let them know about this and they gave me a couple of free sessions, but i’ve already spent quite a bit of money on these treatments and they absolutely do not work, in fact they have the opposite effect- the hair is growing back more than it has in years. Previously laser hair removal was pretty uncomfortable, even mildly painful, however, at the Laser Clinic I barely ever feel anything which brings me to wonder if they even have it on the right setting or on a high enough setting? Very disappointing and I’ve complained to them several times. I won’t be buying any more from here once I finish these sessions.
Shocking experience at Albany branch, arrived only four minutes late with no courtesy call beforehand, yet “Kylie” was rude, dismissive, and refused service while no other customers were there! Six-year loyal client shocked by such unprofessional treatment. Strongly urge management to address this.
