The Cosmetic Clinic in Whangarei.After I prepaid for the spot laser treatment, I rang up to make sure the laser treatment would be done on the same day.I attended as I was assured the spot laser treatment would be done on the same day. I took time off from my busy schedule to attend the clinic on the 22nd July 2025. After scanning my face, the consultant spoke to Lauren the manager and said I would have to 'prepare' my skin first for 2 weeks and I'd have to prepay for that too!!!I was very upset as I felt it was a deception.Lauren apologized & said mistakes happen but this was not a mistake. Not a mistake from the reception staff, the training comes from management.What a waste of time!!! It is very dishonest to attract clients with an advertisement offering a discount & later tell the client more treatments are needed. I will definitely not have anything to do with the Laser Cosmetic Clinic again.
Don't pre-pay your treatments at Laser Clinic New Plymouth!!!! They have recently had a change of management so they are triple booking a room (so they cancel your appointment), then cancel the next one and won't give you a refund. Manager rudely hung up on me when I asked for a refund. I went to head office but they won't provide any information, dragging on for a month now. Head office confirmed today that they also will not provide a refund.
Laser Clinic Queensgate. Laser skin treatment burned my skin! The treatment is extremely painful and no cooling is provided. Had to stop after two tries. Worse than natural child birth! Was offered a credit but when I requested a refund i had to apply for this, visited the clinic twice and when they finally approved a discount when i pointed out the consumer act. They withheld $100 - unacceptable! Horrible customer service.
GO TO OTHER CLINICS! I completed 11 sessions of laser hair removal at this clinic for my arms, shoulders, and back. I was told my hair type was ideal and that 8–12 sessions would significantly reduce growth and my type hair and skin is ideal for treatment. After all that time, money, and two extra sessions (given after an experienced staff admitted previous sessions weren’t done properly), the results are extremely disappointing — the regrowth is almost the same as before.I’ve contacted the clinic twice and was told upper management would follow up. It’s been over a month, and no one has responded. I now also have a tattoo on my back and on my shoulder, so further treatment in that area isn’t even possible. I feel misled and let down with plenty of my time and resources wasted.
The clinin at the base was an experience I do not wish to repeat. I got mucked around, tried to talk me into 6k worth of work when I had already paid in advance for a treatment, which I never recieved. totally disorganised shoddy business practises. I asked for refund for the treatment I never got. Now they have gone quiet. They owe me $180. I guess I have to take them to disputes tribunal to get my money back. Go somewhere else these people are clowns If I could do no star I would. I am still awaiting my refund, I guess I will be taking them to court to get my money back
Palmerston North clinic were awesome.all staff were attentative., I felt relaxed and comfortable. Although my booking was somehow cancelled. It wasnt a problem to sort it out immediately for treatment to proceed..Anu Kaur is a wonderful, friendly and reasurring nurse. And i will certainly be an ongoing client of hers.
