Horrible customer service. I tried the free trial and they did not even accept my power of attorney that I did on lawdepot.com at the bank for the verbiage. I didn’t cancel the subscription. I only used it one time they charged me. I called them and explained to them that I only used it one time that I didn’t cancel it. She was so rude. She’s like well. You’re not getting your money back and I’m noting in your account so I’m calling my bank and I’m calling everyone to dispute it because $49 for something that doesn’t work is called fraud. And the customer service is absolutely horrible.
The information provided is very clear and easy to follow regarding the processes and legal rights of both parties. I now feel a sense of comfort and empowerment to advocate for my rights and support my housemates who have faced ongoing harassment from the landlord and her aggressive associate. The next time either of them oversteps or intrudes, it will be a challenging situation because I have been educating my new friends about the law and how to confront unscrupulous and greedy landlords.
I utilized the free trial and cancelled it after three days. There seemed to be a glitch in the cancellation process, as I discovered SIX MONTHS later that I was still being charged. I never received any email receipts, leaving me unaware of the ongoing charges. Every other subscription service I use sends receipts. I asked for a refund for all but the first month since I didn’t use the service after that initial document. They refunded me for one month but refused to provide any further refunds. This feels like a questionable business practice, and I would advise caution. Additionally, there were errors in the legal document, and the formatting was poor. My middle schoolers could have produced better work. I definitely won't be using the service again, which might explain their reliance on aggressive subscription tactics to remain operational.
