On January 30, 2024, we acquired a Sleepmax Gel Memory Luxury King bed from Lifestyle Furniture Hamilton store, which has unfortunately turned out to be faulty. The mattress is sagging on both sides, and considering its age of under 2 years and the comprehensive 5-year warranty, we are dissatisfiled with its durability. The retailer's recommendation to lean the bed against the wall daily as a potential solution is impractical for us due to age-related concerns and doubts about its efficacy. It is worth noting that the mattress seems to be out of production. Our efforts to contact the head office have resulted in prolonged delays and indirect communication. We advise prospective customers to consider other options when making a purchase

Uncaring and unprofessional

We got two Sheeshan high back Jaali Chairs delivered 3 days ago. One of the chair is completely damaged owing to a damaged piece of wood used on the sitting area. Adam has completely baffled the characteristics of Sheesham wood showing absolutely zero knowledge. I suggest that he gains better knowledge to justify his findings. Please be aware of any purchases you make through this Indian Company. Once the money is in their hands and goods delivered they hold no warranty for their goods. They totally lack the responsibility to their customers. Be aware, befor you part with your money.

Update: The company has since contacted me and confirmed that the replacement 2-seater part with cushions has been ordered. I really appreciate how responsive they have been since I raised the issue.

Be very careful of returns with this company

Be very, very careful when dealing with returns involving this company. We purchased a chest of drawers and 2 bedside cabinets. One of the cabinets was damaged but, leaving this aside, when the furniture arrived it did not appear to the same colour as within the website online (but no doubt Lifestyle will say that these can come up with differing shades etc). We therefore invoked the 14 day return under the Sale of Goods Act.Under "important information" attached to the sales invoice, it states "retain original box and packing in case you need to return the item". Otherwise, there was no direct link to the company's terms and conditions nor specific details relating to returns etc.We paid extra to have the unwrapping option and also for the items to be carried upstairs.The driver took all the packaging away, pretty much without our noticing as we were upstairs viewing the furniture.As stated earlier, we tried to invoke the returns condition but Lifestyle stated that we had to repack the items either in the original packaging or at our own expense.To repeat, the driver took the packaging away.Numerous emails were exchanged before they came up at the eleventh hour with "Terms and Conditions F3" (first time they had appeared) which stated that "the unwrapping service includes disposal by the driver".Thus, we have to repackage the items in the original packaging which has been taken away by the driver as part of the standard unwrapping service. Catch 22 still lives after all these years.Trying to get cardboard packaging for an item as large as a chest of drawers has proved to be impossible. Companies will make up bespoke boxes but only for a minimum number, certainly not a one off. We are therefore stuck.Abysmal lack of interest and customer service on behalf of Lifestyle Furniture.At the very least, to prevent someone else being mugged, Lifestyle could at least make specific mention on their invoices that any customer should go online to view the full company terms and conditions with particular reference to F3 and not wait until the eleventh hour before dropping it on you. An actual link to the website would also draw customer's attention to it. Be warned, whatever you do, always insist on keeping the original packaging, particularly when using the unwrapping service!

AVOID!

I bought what looked like a lovely solid pine blanket box online. It was supposed to be natural pine. It arrived this morning and is an awful orange colour and the wood looks inferior. Very disappointed I called to speak to customer services to return it and ask for a full refund. The woman I spoke to repeatedly talked over me and then put the phone down. I called back and had more of the same rude behaviour. Very unprofessional and completely unnecessary. To add insult to injury, I was advised that to return the goods which are NOT as featured, I will have to pay £49! Appalled that they are allowed to do this.

I am so so disappointed

I am so so disappointed, I'm a regular customer of this store, but so much for customer loyalty. Amongst many orders I ordered and paid for a mirror they advertised on their website in May, I was advised that my order was the second and the item wouldn't be in until August. I telephoned the store and now advised that the item, perhaps? May be ready for delivery by the middle of September? ( 4 months after initially ordered and paid for.) I wonder what will happen in September.?I am so disappointed, why advertised goods that are not sent within a reasonable time frame?

UNHAPPY WITH NASSAU COFFEE SET

Purchased Nassau Coffee set in Sage Green in June 2024. I stored it in the shed over the winter to protect it. When I took the set out of the recently. The chairs were really faded in some parts but the table was OK. This seems really strange as it was all fine when it went in the shed.DO NOT BUY if you want this product to last more than 6 months.
