Order 8 LED batten lights. Upon installation one was flickering. Send a video to the Lighting Direct customer care team expecting a real bun fight. Nope, got a call the next day confirming a new one was on its way (at no charge obviously). It arrived very quickly and didn't flicker. All good.An excellent customer care experience.
SHOCKING! I swear this company is a scam! I ordered a light, it did come... BUT with it being a battery light, no remote so it doesnt work! try to call.. forget it, no answer! no call back!! send an email... nothing! raise a complaint on PayPal... they email back within minutes! they say a new remote was sent, 6 days later, no remote! they are not worth any business from anyone!In response to the reply below! this is FAKE! they make no attempt at all! frankly shocking... I would 100% avoid even more now!
I have bought 2 lights with matching bulbs from Direct Lighting on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions I paid £6.99 for express delivery as on the website it said in green letters that if I order by a certain time, I can get my order the next day. However, the orders didn’t arrive the next day but 2-3 working days later which is their standard delivery time stated for free delivery, if your order value is above a certain value, which my orders were. So paying the extra for express delivery was needless and their statements on their website are very misleading. It also states on their website that they offer a refund as long as you return the item in an unused, resaleable condition within 30 days from date of delivery, however that is also a false statement as I have tried to return my 2nd order due to incorrect description of the light on their website but it’s not actually possible to return! I have followed their online return instructions for a refund but their system failed to generate a return label asking me to get in touch with their customer service but it is also impossible to get in touch with their customer service on the details provided. I have emailed them several times, called them a few times but I have not received a response at all and it’s not possible to speak to anyone so please please AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY HAVE MISLEADING INFORMATION STATED ON THEIR WEBSITE. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ON THERE. AVOID!!!!
