A mark of a great company is how they act when things go wrong and Lighting Direct made it so easy to resolve an issue I flagged with them. Not only that they did it super quick. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again knowing I can trust them to help if needed.
Service was absolutely fine with appropriate communications before delivery.Sadly the product (wired outdoor lighting set) itself fell well below expectation.The connection wires are made of soft thin plastic and within 3 days have been destroyed by squirrels, birds, etc.For an outdoor product I would expect robust materials. This is certainly not the case and my purchase is now beyond repair.Would not recommend.
Not put up the lamp yet it. It was delivered promptly and there was too much packaging- it was well-packaged against damage but then dispatched in a huge box.The wood on the lamp is real wood not wood effect, unfortunately the way I could tell is because of the splintered end, it had obviously not been sanded smooth. Painted finish was smooth, slightly darker than website images.Providing it works when we put it up, we'll keep it as my husband doesn't care about this quality of finish and it's going in his office. I would have returned it.
These are reasonably priced and look great. Ensure you screw the plate in and don't rely solely on the adhesive backing.If you're prepared to just switch on occasionally (batteries will obviously run out if on permanently) but don't want the cost and hassle of having an electrician wire in permanent lights, these are a great solution. I have 3 up and they add gravitas to an artwork, even when not illuminated.
The product looked nothing like what was advertised, was cheap and flimsy. Rang the customer service team as I wanted to return and was told I would have to pay to return. Absolutely shocking service, the woman was very rude, had no desire to help. Shocking company, avoid!
