Placed an order at 11.05 on a Sunday morning (when the rest of the world has barely made it out of bed) and was delivered 10.20 the following morning. Free delivery in under 24 hours, with no uplift for express delivery. Remarkable! You can’t ask for better than that.
I ordered a VERY expensive bulkhead light. They charged me £4.16 postage AND PACKAGING what came was the smallest bulkhead light I have ever seen. On looking back the dimensions are right at the bottom of the page you would seriously struggle to get a normal light bulb in this fitting. Not only that, the glass has defects. Air bubbles from manufacturing, The fitting itself looks sturdy. But it’s not even put together. You have to fit the bulb holder yourself. Completely shocked by the tiny unusable size of this thing. I go onto the returns and they want to charge me £7.50 to return it. Nearly double the original charge which included packaging. I’ll NEVER shop with these again. It was supposed to be a trial purchase to start using them. But that won’t happen. Think I’ll be making a bank charge back claim Instead and filling out a trading standards notification through citizens advice!!
Amazing service which goes beyond what they publish. I placed an order for an outside wall light at 9:15 in the evening which is 30 minutes after Lighting Direct's published cut off and they still delivered the following morning.
