Highly recommend L & J Price Flooring & Interiors. From start to finish they were great. I had the whole house fitted with new flooring and I couldn’t be happier, it looks really smart, is really good quality and the price was extremely reasonable, more affordable than I expected prior to visiting L & J Price.
The process was seamless, the team spent time with me, explaining the different floor options and going through numerous styles with me to ensure I found what was right for me. They were accommodating, friendly and wanted to help me as much as they could.
I had a quote and fitting much sooner than I expected. The fitter was also really helpful, there was an area of the kitchen floor with an issue and he came back to finish laying the floor once the other work was completed.
I can’t thank the team at L & J Price enough! They will be my first choice if I need anything else in the future.

I’ve recently moved into my first home and needed to buy everything from scratch. L & J Price Flooring made the entire process effortless. My home is now fully furnished with carpets, cushion flooring, LVT, bedroom and lounge furniture, beds, a sofa, blinds, and even a dining table and chairs — all purchased under one roof.The staff were second to none. They went above and beyond by matching paint colours to complement my carpets and even coordinating them with the fabric of my new bed and sofa. We went to L&J Price Flooring Interiors for a new carpet a couple of years ago. We were really happy with the service and product so had no hesitation in asking them to remove our existing laminate and vinyl flooring in our dining room and kitchen and replace it with vinyl throughout. The ladies in the shop were lovely on our first visit to pick out what we needed and when booking someone to measure up and quote us. We couldn’t fault them and were more than happy to pay the full balance so that all that was left was the actual work. We arranged a date and time for the existing floor to be removed and screed put down, with a view to fitting the new floor a couple of days after. However, a week or so beforehand they called and asked us to rearrange to an earlier date - perfect!When the new date came, I called after an hour of waiting to be told they didn’t have us on the list for that day. My husband had taken time off work for this so we asked them to send someone. An hour or two later, a workman turned up. He had the floor up in no time. Great! We pointed out 2 screws that were in the floor. He said “Not to worry, the fitters will take them out.” Later that same day, a different workman turned up to screed. He saw the difference in the floor levels where the dining room meets the kitchen and called the shop, who advised me that I can either have a door plate or more screed and the only difference would be the price. Expecting that I’d been told the full information and that everyone would turn up with what they needed, I went for the plate. He screeded the floor and got it on the door and walls too. He had access to a large tarpaulin to cover things with but didn’t use it. We are not happy about that. Later in the week, a third workman arrived to fit the floor. I was out but my husband took more time off to be in. Unfortunately the message to fit a door plate and remove the screws had not got through to the fitter as he fit the vinyl on the floor as it was - screws and all - and did not fit a door plate. This left dangerous sharp edges that hurt our feet when we stood on them. I called the shop who at first tried to say “You should have told us”. We had as we told the man who removed our floor. They then arranged to send the fitter again a couple of days later. He turned up again, saying “I knew I’d have to come back here” which begs the question “well why didn’t you do it right in the first place then?” Anyway, he removed the screws whilst muttering “Who screeds over screws like this? They should have been removed.” Too right, they should have been removed by you or any of the other 2 supposed experts who came prior. To add further stress, he had brought the wrong door plate and inadequate tools to fit it. So I called the shop and they ordered us a different one, arranging again for someone to come back after the weekend to fit the right plate.During the weekend, we decided to put back on the plinths they had taken off and not fit back on again. Not only did we find that some of the old vinyl had been left down and screeded over, making it impossible to fit our plinths back on, we also found the fitters had not cut properly around our kitchen cupboards so we had to do it ourselves. We also had to clear up all their rubbish. I am really not happy about this at all. In fact I’m furious that I’ve paid over £1000 for removal and fitting and my husband and I are having to finish the job by taking up the remains of the old vinyl. I don’t think any of the people from L&J Price Flooring would accept this in their home so I don’t know why we have been expected to. Unless they thought we wouldn’t ever know. On Monday the fitter came back to fit the new, sloping, screw down door plate. Instead of fitting that one he used double sided tape to stick down a different plate. The wrong one. Obviously this was unacceptable and I told him so. Returning to the van, he found the correct plate and fit that one. The lovely ladies in the shop promise the earth and follow through on their end of the bargain but the whole thing falls down when the workmen don’t do the job properly and there seems to be a massive lack of communication between all of them. I am very disappointed with this shoddy, disorganised, careless and cowboy like service and will be looking elsewhere for our next floor or carpet. I suggest everyone avoid. Edit: I see L&J Price Flooring have responded to this review. They have also called me, leaving a voice mail saying the same thing. Unfortunately, as L&J Price were already aware of most of the issues (all except the plinths, which we have now dealt with ourselves), I don’t see how this can be made right.
