I am extremely disappointed with Charlotte Neil in your customer service team. She clearly has little product knowledge or understanding. It could have been a simple task of sending a replacement lace in the post. However she wanted the pair of shoes returned, when there was nothing wrong with them. This would unnecessarily cost Loake more in time and postage. I did not have time to wait for this ridiculous process, as I bought the shoes for my holiday.
Very disappointing experience with Loake.I received a pair of £319 boots that were clearly damaged, yet they had been signed off as having passed quality control. This alone is unacceptable for a brand positioned at this level.As a result, I had to go through the inconvenience of arranging a return and ordering a new pair myself. What is most surprising is that no effort was made to rectify the situation properly—no replacement arranged, no complimentary next-day delivery, and no form of compensation for the inconvenience caused.While the refund was processed, this simply returns the customer to the starting point and does not address the disruption caused by the company’s mistake. From a brand like Loake, I expected a much higher standard of customer service and accountability.Very poor customer service overall, and a disappointing experience.
