I placed an order for collection from your London Covent Garden branch within plenty of time. On the collection day I waited for a text message to confirm that the cake was ready for collection but that message never came. I waited for a large part of the day until I finally called customer services only to be informed that the cake was at the store ready for collection! I ended up having to do a mad dash to collect the cake and get it home in time to head back to the west end and not miss the theater show I was taking my sister to for her birthday that evening, when I could easily have collected the cake earlier in the day if I had received a message confirming readiness. I find that really bad service from a company that prides themselves on good customer service. The least I expect when paying quite a large sum for a tiny cake is a text message letting me know that it’s ready to be collected! The staff at the store were really friendly and professional so this is no reflection on them, but this was overall a very disappointing experience.
Order a The Tall Frozen Birthday Cake…Order The Tall Frozen Birthday Cake and 12 Frozen Cupcakes for my six year old’s Birthday, all the cakes were absolutely beautiful tasted amazing were light and fluffy worth every penny, My granddaughters and her friends had to have photos taken with the cakes The adults enjoyed the cake too coming up for seconds, the delivery service was excellent the driver very helpful and friendly really do recommend Lola’s Cakes the service is brilliant and easy to order online definitely will be ordering again Thank You.
We ordered two wedding cakes for our wedding - just DELICIOUS!! Many guests raved about the taste. We happened to over-order so are working our way through the second cake at home (no complaints on this however, just yummy). The delivery worked out well and the cake was great addition to our day.
