Cake looked lovely but didn’t taste nice. The chocolate cake wasn’t pleasant and the icing left a bad taste in your mouth. Most was left unfinished. Plus the ingredient list is disturbing. Advertising as E numbers may have adverse effects on children when the cake was obviously a children’s themed cake. Do better Lolas!
The cake was extremely well decorated, but also extremely sweet - far, far too sweet for me. The sponge was on the dry side. The cake had different coloured layers, but different flavours did not come through. The outward appearance of the cake promised much, but the eating of it was somewhat disappointing.
The cupcakes were great. The red velvet birthday cake, not so much. We get these multiple times a year for celebrations (birthdays and anniversaries, new jobs etc) however the cream cheese frosting was so minimal on the cake this time. Really disappointed
