Since this company has experienced growth all standards have just slid below par. Firstly starting to charge for collection on orders disgustingly greedy. Secondly never double bagging. Why don't your staff understand that when it's raining or if the cake is heavy to double bag!! Finally the quality and attention to detail. Really shoddy icing, poorly packaged. Each time I order I am disappointed I am seeking a new bakery/cupcake shop.
It was easy to order a personalised birthday cake on the Lola’s website. There is so much choice. We were very happy with the chocolate naked cake - it was delicious and beautifully presented with fresh fruit in and on it. I found it easy and convenient to collect from our local Lola’s locker. Happy to recommend and will definitely use Lola’s again.
Fantastic tasting cake ordered online and delivered to a postcode technically outside of London. This was a gift to be delivered to my mum’s workplace for her retirement. We are cake connoisseurs as we regularly have home baked cakes but have to say we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this Victoria sponge tasted. Delivery driver followed instructions perfectly to deliver without issue and Lola’s customer service was helpful when I rang them beforehand to add delivery notes for the driver. Thank you!
