I’m surprised at the bad reviews for look fantastic as I order a lot of them as they are better value than the shops in Ireland and better than many other websites. I get the beauty box every month which I love and often I order other bits as well particularly hair masks. My last order came within three days which was great, and was especially good value, very pleased.
I placed an order for 2 items on October 2nd. 1 item is Color wow spray, and the other is the Lookfantastic advent calendar. Firstly my advent calendar was canceled THREE TIMES with no explanation and was given no further explanation when I contacted customer service. In regards to the Color Wow spray, this has not been canceled but I still haven't received any indication that my package will arrive or when it will arrive.DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!!!
I really don't know where to begin here. I have no idea how this company is so highly rated on here. I preordered the Advent Calendar in September, we were told they were to be delivered in October. October arrived and I got no notification of dispatch and que a 6 week long process to find out where my delivery was. The took €102 out of my account on October 14th (even though they weren't supposed to take the money until dispatch was ready) the then supposedly sent the item on the 20th but the tracking number I got for it was a dud. I contacted them for the correct tracking number and they never gave me one just said to wait until the 9th November for delivery. We'll it's the 10th now and I still don't have the item and they are refusing to give me a refund until I "return the unwanted item" even though they know I don't have it because even they don't know where it is!! I have started the chargeback process with my bank now but I am beyond disgusted with how this company has behaved. Another interesting point is because it was a preorder payment couldn't be made through PayPal and assurances were given that the money would only be taken when the item was dispatched. I now believe that this was done intentionally so that people couldn't raise a dispute with Lookfantastic through PayPal and get their money back that way.
Order placed on September 25, order nr. 434336124 - one item was delivered - the more expensive item is still not delivered. Card is charged for the amount - the item is still not shipped. Company creates the fake illusion as if items are shipped - but in contacting customer service through chat - they are indicating it is stuck in warehouse. After multiple requests to cancel the item and provide a credit - the LookFantastic is refusing to provide a credit. DO NOT TRUST this company
Most disappointed! Think it is a scam ! I returned my items almost promptly’ that was September 2022 , now it is November 2022 ! And NO REFUND IN SIGHT ! I’m just left to send message after message and the circle continues. First someone says “o u should have got it ! Let me check ! “ Then the story starts “ send me confirmation and proof of posting & tracking number “ This has been sent at least 5 different times and the whole game rolls back to same story again. In between weeks have passed. I’m owed more than €100.00 & the pain of correspondence is unbearable. NO NUMBER TO CALL OF DISCUSS WHAT IS THE ISSUE??? Best part is they sent me refund of my postage !!! And still asking me proof of posting???? How inefficient can they get ? What company had a new customer care person for every single message sent ? I have about 20 different names collected since ! Are they made up ? Just a big scam. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UR REFUND WILL NEVER MATURE !! Shocking ! They need to be penalized and reported ! What a scam altogether!
I have repeatedly (every day x 5 days) been asked to clarify details of a LF purchase in order to get a refund for a product I was charged for but did not order. I have already clarified all order details, date and amount of charges, provided bank account screenshot of charge for product I did not order, billing address, delivery address, email and order number. Today I was asked by their Customer Service on Facebook for card details (?!).This is really a terrible example of customer service given that 50% of the order was cancelled by Look Fantastic, I was charged for an item I did not order, and now I am being asked for card details over the internet. I do not understand why all of the above is not sufficient to verify the purchase and incorrect charge.
