I've been using L'Oreal Casting for years, and am even more pleased with the new product. It has given even better coverage of the fine hair of the hairline around my face. The colour 423 Chestnut Brown is lovely, and the conditioner has left my hair shiny and soft.
For many years I have used loreal colour protect conditioner and always loved how wonderful my hair felt. I have shoulder length naturally curly hair that I have coloured to cover my grey. I have always been proud of my hair and received many good comments about it. I recently bought a new bottle of conditioner and noticed that the package was different but didn't think anything of it. As soon as I opened it I noticed a different smell and a different colour. When I applied it I noticed the difference, it didn't seem to wash off properly. As I was drying my hair it wouldn't curl properly and my hair looked awful it was heavy and dirty and greasy and I never have greasy hair and hardly any curl and itchy. I was so upset as I've been using loreal for many years and after spending £6 on a bottle of conditioner I have to throw it away and try to find an alternative.I noticed on the Internet that due to Eu changes they have altered it and many people don't like it. I emailed loreal who replied and said thanks for your interest send details of the product and I will look into it for you. I sent them photos and said would it be at all possible for a refund or at least some vouchers towards something else but they clearly didn't like that and failed to reply. Feeling disappointed and missing my beautiful mane.
I used a colour Excellence product which ended up with a very dark effect yet the image was dark blonde. I sent a complaint to L'Oreal as my hairdresser informed me it would cost £120 -£150 to colour correct. L'Oreal is in breach of the Consumer Act 2015 as the product was not fit for purpose and failed in its duty of care to provide an adequate service. They offered £50 only as a goodwill gesture and suggested I use another product by them to correct the colour! How can I trust L'Oreal hair products again?! I have sent 18 messages through Resolver and even speaking to the company they have a 'no name' policy so no Customer Service Manager is accountable. I sent photographic evidence and offered to send remains of the product for scientific investigation to no avail. Shambolic customer service and L'Oreal should be ashamed of itself.
''L'Oréal Paris Colorista Permanent Gel Hair Dye, Long-Lasting and Vibrant At-Home Hair Colour, High-Intensity Hues with Up to 3x More Shine, Colour: Silver Grey'' That is what it claimed to do!In reality, it turned my hair 'Mrs Slocombe' purple!I wanted silver grey and got PURPLE ...and that's all I have to say on the matter!
Used a box dye that did not lift my grey so I contacted their customer service who replied by giving me instructions on how to use the product! Complained again and they said they would send me a voucher to reimburse the cost, they never did!
