However, I recognize that accidents can occur, and it's the company’s response that truly matters. The service team surpassed my expectations. They replaced the chairs quickly, and while the tabletop took a bit longer, it was also replaced. They even came to install the new top, which was incredibly thoughtful. Mistakes can happen with any business, but their management of the situation was outstanding. Their customer service was top-notch, and they genuinely prioritize their customers. I bought 8 chairs for over £1,000.00 at the end of 2024 (just over a year ago). These chairs were hardly used, and after a year, 3 of them broke. One collapsed under me while I was sitting on it, and I was pregnant at the time. The other two chairs collapsed with guests, which was very embarrassing. I reached out to the company for assistance, explaining that I had spent a lot and needed help. They informed me that the warranty had expired and could do nothing. I pleaded for help as purchasing 8 new chairs is a significant expense for me, but I was ignored after that. The service was incredibly disappointing. Please avoid shopping here. The products are not safe, and the service is robotic and unsympathetic.
The table and chairs are both beautiful and sturdy. The delivery personnel were polite and assembled everything well. The only reason for one star less is that the delivery wait was longer than expected, despite the items being listed as in stock, and I had to reach out to the delivery service for a date.
I'm really pleased with the chairs; they complement my decor beautifully. The quality is excellent. Delivery was delayed, which I was aware of when ordering. There was a slight mark on one chair, but customer service is sending a replacement seat, which I appreciate. Very happy with how it was handled.
