We had a very disappointing experience with Magna Motors.
We purchased a car from them which unfortunately developed a fault shortly afterwards and had to be returned. While we understand that issues can sometimes happen, what followed was extremely frustrating.
We were left waiting 5 weeks for a full refund. During that time we had to make numerous phone calls, send multiple emails, visit in person, submit formal complaints, and even issue a formal letter giving Magna Motors 7 days to make payment before we would begin court action. The stress and time involved were completely unacceptable.
In the end, we only received the refund on the final day of that deadline — and only after turning up at Magna Motors in person again.
I do want to acknowledge that Joe from Magna Motors, who took over my refund case in January, was the only person who consistently replied to me and actively chased the matter on my behalf. Without his involvement, I’m not convinced this would have been resolved when it was.
Overall, a very poor post-sale experience that has left us with zero confidence in recommending Magna Motors

Within 24 hrs the car electrics failed and it wouldn’t start . They sent two “ cowboys” to fix it but they brought “ no tools” asking if we had any .?!?! Incredulous .
They got it started by bump starting it and “guessed” it could be at least 14 things but “couldn’t be sure” . The car was returned and they had it for no less than six weeks and it still wasn’t repaired . Their offer was “ you take it in the non roadworthy and Mot failure state it’s in , you get it fixed and if we agree on the price of the repair we might pay for it” !!!
The car was not accepted back , and under the credit consumer act 2015 we demanded a full refund . The refund was denied breaching legislation and so legal counsel was engaged .
They put the car back on auto trader which again under legislation is illegal as they have not issued a refund and so the car was not legally there to sell.

They literally are the very definition of the poor reputation second hand car dealers have .
Auto trader were informed of their illegal behaviour and removed the advert under fraudulent behaviour .
We are assured by ojr solicitor we most certainly will get the money back and then we will be taking “furthers legal steps” against them . This is not over until we are satisfied !!

Word of advice STAY CLEAR , STAY AWAY .AVOID AVOID AVOID this dodgy car dealers and don’t be impressed by a website , there is no substance to this shabby outfit selling vehicles that are not fit for purpose . This car was a mechanical and electrical dangerous money pit that six weeks couldn’t resolve , that in itself tells a story

I strongly advise against purchasing from this dealership. They lack professionalism and fail to inspect their cars properly before selling. After only three months of ownership, I've encountered multiple issues, including missing engine parts and faulty wiring. They denied the existence of oil leaks, which were confirmed by a reputable dealership. This company refused to cover repair costs or provide a refund. It's best to avoid this service altogether.

Avoid this untrustworthy company

This company has proven to be a significant waste of time and extremely unprofessional. I called about one of their vehicles and informed them that a mechanic would check it the next day. When the day arrived, they told the mechanic that the vehicle didn't exist. This made me look foolish, as I had confirmed its availability. It's suspicious that the vehicle vanished right when it was to be inspected. After multiple calls, they eventually acknowledged its existence but claimed it was no longer available for unknown reasons. I strongly advise against buying from this company.

Positive experience with some hiccups

I recently purchased a vehicle from a car sales service, and the overall experience was quite good. The process was straightforward, and the purchase was quick and relatively easy. The car is in excellent condition, drives well, and has a good specification, so I'm satisfied with it. There were a few customer service issues, which were disappointing. However, after a call, a representative resolved them by covering the MOT and arranging a full valet. While it wasn't a perfect transaction, it was far from a bad one. If they can manage the remaining details effectively, I would consider using them again.

Stay away from this dealership

I recommend avoiding this dealership entirely. I purchased a vehicle, and although the finance company paid out, the car did not arrive on the delivery date. When I inquired about its whereabouts, I was told it had a gearbox fault and would be delivered the following week. However, when I checked in, I was rudely informed that it was not happening, and there was no further communication. Now, the finance company is pursuing them for the funds.

Steer clear of this so-called dealership

I urge you to avoid this dealership; they are complete con artists. Most of the positive reviews seem to be from family and friends of the owners. This company has a troubling history under a previous name, and the negative reviews speak volumes. They claim that every car comes with a passed MOT and service, but it’s clear that this is not the case. I deeply regret my purchase and advise others to thoroughly research before engaging with them.
