Horrific experience! It is been more then 3 months that i have canceled my order before it was delivered..they delivered anyway..even though i called to make sure this won't happen and was told not to worry!?!?It is now been 2 moths that they picked it up and i still don't have my money back!!!! Not even after 100 calls&100 emails!!! It looks like i will have to hire a lawyer as nobody is willing to sort this out and if i don't they will likely just keep my money!!! Criminals!!!!
One star is being too generous.I don't even know where to start, but before I do, I have to say that some of their phone support people are indeed quite polite and helpful.However, I ordered a couch with them, which was promptly delivered without any issues. The couch was rock solid, and it started sagging after some days, so I decided to return it.Meanwhile as the quarantine started, they told me that they couldn't collect any items until it all passed. After a couple of months and after the measures were lifted, things started getting weird. I saw that the company responsible for picking up items, was operating again so I tried to call maisons du monde to know why hadn't I been contacted about the return. The first 4 or 5 times, they told me that they were waiting for the carrier to inform them of something.So I waited, and waited and waited, to see nothing happening. After getting tired of waiting, I started making complaints and called the carrier as well. The company responsible for collecting returns, informed me though that they never had any request from MdM to collect any item from my place but that they would do that ASAP.So I called again Mdm who informed me that they had requested indeed to collect the return, but they couldn't provide me a return number.Some months after a lot of frustration, I managed to return what I've ordered and get my money back. However, there's no reason in this world that would lead me again to ever buy anything from this company. It's not just bad, it sucks out energy from you due to poor organization and due to simply not caring at all about their customers. Note as well that their mail support is inexistent. They only replied to one of my 20 something mails, and they did it in an extremely rude way. Never but never again.
