Girl I am a new nail tech right and i ordered from here because I seen some good stuff about the pigment so here I go spending about £500 on these polishes cus im like this is a good investment right? Wrong so they took agesss to arrive after I contacted so many times for updates it would take days to get a reply. When I finally get them 3 and a half weeks later, I have to drive 45 mins to the nearest depot and they go “oh by the way you have to pay a £125 customs fee” like girl I just spent my loan tryna build my business I don’t have that money and that was ontop of the £85 shipping fee I paid for these so ye I pay it and then I go to use them… they won’t cure so I contact makartt and they go oh this is detail gel and you need our lamp to cure it! Like I’m not spending another £300 to buy a damn lamp and also why you advertising them on full nails if they ain’t meant for that. so I go ok can i exchange or return and they say no. So now I’m stuck with 60 colours of gel that no one wants because they won’t cure and they need to sell a kidney to buy the lamp and I can’t return them what a waste of a total of £625 worth of products! I cried for ages but then I had to fork out another £400 to go buy some new gels from a different company so guess who’s £1k down from GEL POLISHES!
Even zero stars would be too many. I ordered a package back in January, it came about a month later, which was too late so I returned it. I saw through the tracking that it had arrived to the country of their warehouse. I had to push them four times, long waiting time, and now 8 months later they tell me the package MOST LIKELY, have been confiscated by customs. Mind you they only THINK that this is a possibility and because of that they won’t issue a refund, and even to start with, it wasn’t going to be a full refund. This is absolutely wild and I have been a customer for a few years, crazy customer service.
I REALLY dislike their polygels.I dont know how i fluencers have been promoting this brand for years.Its hard to work with, sort of melt when you put acetone on your brush to work the product (I always remove excess acetone).And it has trouble sticking to my nails. It falls off easily. I do not have this problem with other brands.The colored shades (I own Lavander and baby blue) are hard to cure throughout.I own a few shades of gel too. It is sort of streaky. I have seen worse but for the price might aswell but from sweetienailsupply a canadian reseller of korean products.
After one week my UV lamp’s battery no longer charges. I emailed customer service, they asked me for a video, and now no response from them. Terrible warranty DO NOT BUY anything through their website. Some products you cannot return at all, and if you have an issue they make it hard to get assistance. Expensive and not well made. I regret not researching the brand before I made the purchase
I've Emailed Makartt Numerous Times, And They Have Not Fixed My Problem. They Sent Me Alot Of Gel Nail Polishes That I Did Not Order I Sent The Polishes Back And Asked For A Refund That I've Haven't Received Yet This Is My First And Last Time Dealing With This Company!
...but if you MUST try it, then only get from the Amazon storefront.I had used their products for a while, buying them from Amazon. They were okay for the price, although it have heavily increased with more name endorsements.After a while I was approached by them (ambassador account) on Instagram, and I became an ambassador. What they didn't tell you is that your ambassador affiliate save ups are different locations and do not merge, so for example CA, US and EU; You can earn US/CA affiliate sales but if you are in EU you simply can't spend them. From mothers day 2021 and all the way til now way into September 2022 I have been waiting for a package from them from a giveaway winning. Asking for status updates and tracking have been unsuccessful.When contacting Makartt support about the issue they just state because it's from the ambassador programme they simply can't help and tell you to contact the ambassador responsible person through IG. The person claim they sent it but I they never did and after a few tries they responded back with promises saying they'll send it soon, with months in between every reply.
I ordered once from them everything was fine, but when I ordered from them a second time my order was only 25 dollars they charged that and it was fine…. But a couple days later they charged 5 dollars then a couple more days they charged 2 dollars and some change. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM DIRECTLY!!!! I usually only buy from them on Amazon but I wanted to see what it would be like to order straight from them, WORST MISTAKE! They are either envolved in scam or they got a hack in their system either way they stole entire half hour out of my paycheck so… I’m very disappointed, because why steal from a customer that could have been a regular…? Weird to me so my advice would is to stay away from their actual website. I may try another poly gel company until I see what they do to resolve this or make me feel less weird about their company, but until then I don’t recommend.
