There is no way to cancel your…

There is no way to cancel your membership when you start a trial. My guess is they want you to forget so you then get charged $400 dollars automatically for a yearly subscription. This is horrible and is thievery. Shame on this company. WHY CANT YOU JUST ADD A CANCEL TRIAL FUNCTION?

⭐️ 1/5 — Critical flaw: Stripe-only payment gateway makes this unusable in South Africa

I paid for a Manus subscription, built a complete ecommerce site, and reached the final step: accepting payments. That's when I discovered a deal-breaking limitation: Manus only supports Stripe as a payment gateway and will not integrate with any other payment provider whatsoever.The core problem: Stripe does not directly support merchant accounts in South Africa. I cannot open a Stripe account as a South African business entity. Because Manus has hard-locked all payments exclusively to Stripe with zero alternatives or workarounds, my entire ecommerce project is now completely non-functional and cannot go live.Why this is fundamentally a Manus problem, not Stripe's: Stripe is entitled to operate only where it chooses. That's their business decision. However, Manus made a deliberate product choice to make Stripe the only supported payment option, then marketed and sold this "complete ecommerce solution" globally—including to countries like South Africa where that critical payment infrastructure simply doesn't exist for local businesses.The transparency failure: During signup and onboarding, there was no clear, unavoidable warning that Stripe is unavailable for merchants in my country. I only discovered this fatal limitation after I had already paid for the subscription and invested considerable time building my site.Real impact: I've invested both money and time into a product that cannot deliver what is advertised in my jurisdiction. My project is completely blocked at monetization—the entire purpose of the platform.My strong recommendation: Do not subscribe to Manus if you operate in South Africa or any country where Stripe is not directly available for local merchants. Before paying, independently verify that you can actually open and use a Stripe merchant account in your country. Until Manus either adds support for alternative payment gateways or implements clear, unavoidable warnings for unsupported regions during signup, this platform is incomplete and unsuitable for many global markets.

I attempted to cancel my subscription…

I attempted to cancel my subscription but never received a cancellation confirmation email.I was still charged, and when I contacted support, every single ticket received the exact same automated response within seconds, stating that my order “does not qualify for a refund,” with no reference to my account, cancellation status, timestamps, or the issue raised.There was no evidence of a human review, no explanation of why the charge occurred, and no confirmation that auto-renew was disabled. Support simply points to the terms and closes the ticket.I had no meaningful usage of the service, yet the charge stands and support is completely unresponsive beyond automated replies.Very disappointing experience. Be extremely careful with trials, cancellations, and billing.

I've been a pro user for a few months…

I've been a pro user for a few months now. Built some really cool web CRM systems. However this is where the biggest issue is for me. Manus makes errors in development and then charges me 60% of my credits to fix its own issues, seriously its more like a development scam. Cool features but the money you pour into the credit system is almost outweighing the cost of a custom development. At least with a custom development you get to keep the code, here at Manus , if you don't renew your subscription all your years work can be lost in seconds! And then the dodgy system that eats credits for simple web changes? What the hell. Thinking of going back to wordpress at this lol

COMPLETE PLATFORM FAILURE

COMPLETE PLATFORM FAILURE - Deployment System Broken, False Claims, Wasted HoursSpent an entire evening trying to deploy a website to my custom domain (gohigherdash.com). The result? A COMPLETELY BLACK SCREEN on the live site while Manus LIED repeatedly claiming it was fixed.DOCUMENTED FAILURES:1. DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM BROKEN- Manus AI admitted: "fundamental problem with how the production deployment system serves built files to custom domain"- Website preview works perfectly in their editor- Live site at gohigherdash.com shows NOTHING but black screen- This is a PLATFORM-LEVEL infrastructure failure2. REPEATED FALSE CLAIMS- "Website is indexed by Google" - LIE (site doesn't even load)- "Search Engine Indexed ✓" - FALSE- "SEO Score 77" - FAKE DATA for broken site- "Task completed ✓" checkmarks - ALL FALSE- "Your site has been updated!" popup - NEVER DEPLOYED- Multiple "fixes" claimed - NONE WORKED3. FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR- Manus AI apologized for "repeated false claims that issue was resolved"- They KNEW it wasn't fixed but kept lying- Showed success messages while site remained broken- Blamed cache/browser when it was THEIR broken deployment4. WASTED TIME & MONEY- Hours spent troubleshooting THEIR broken platform- DNS configured correctly- Credits consumed for a non-functioning service- Multiple rebuild attempts - all failed- Support cannot even submit refund requests themselvesCONTACT INFO: help.manus.im (they admit they can't fix deployment issues - requires engineering team)WARNING: Do not use Manus for custom domain deployments. Their infrastructure is fundamentally broken and they will lie about fixes while consuming your credits. Platform is unusable for production websites.

Disappointing

I've been with Manus since beta, day 1 launch. I'm a Pro user and spend around $500 a month on credits. I had a long standing project with multiple tasks within it. One task crashed and they all crashed. Months of work lost. Support is non-existent and no accountability to restore credits, task (i.e no back up or roll back of server) to restore to last working instance/vm to save work, if they had a backup/recovery option I would have paid it for the failsafe. I've lost 7 months of work that I had fortunately backed up locally manually but when things go wrong, they are monumental and ive lost faith in them completely. Going on buy another AMD Ryzen AI Max machine and run LM Studio as I do for my other tasks moving forward as this was my last project with Manus.

Purchased credits a week ago. They are not credited, can't use Manus, and customer service is a run around.

Manus has extremely poor technology

Manus has extremely poor technology. The product does not do anything it claims to do. It doesn’t even work at a basic level — for example, it cannot log into your Canvas account, which makes the service completely useless.On top of that, the company’s owners refuse to issue a refund, even though they initially say they will. After that, they change their story multiple times.To make things worse, it is practically impossible to cancel the subscription. Their platform does not allow you to downgrade to a free plan, remove your payment card, or properly cancel your account.Be very careful. Do not make the mistake of subscribing to this company. In my experience, this is a very bad and potentially fraudulent service.

I signed for trial version and before…

I signed for trial version and before the expiry tried to cancel the subscription but there was no way to do so. Also, it does not show any subscription in my account but still trying to charge my card. Thanks to prepaid card that I used and candled the card finally.
