Unbelievable they just charge me $200 and didn’t even finish my webpage all along. The AI agent was telling me that they were sorry that they had messed it up and they kept doing it over and over and over again tried to reach help no assistance it is a disaster.
I accidentally hit the upgrade button and got charged $400. I didn't touch a single extra credit and reached out to support right away to get it reversed. Instead of just fixing an honest mistake, I got two totally different and completely ridiculous replies from their team.
Their final "offer" was a crazy ultimatum: either I eat the $400 charge, or they'll wipe out my other account perks—including a completely separate Lenny's Newsletter annual membership that I already paid for somewhere else.
Holding my account hostage over an accidental click is wild. Since Meta acquired Manus, you’d think they’d have the customer service and support standards of an actual tech giant. Instead, they treat long-time paying users like this. Honestly, be extremely careful before linking your payment info here.
Don't be fooled by Manus' free trial; their customer service is among the worst in the world.
Don't expect to get a refund easily from them; they'll reject you with mechanical replies. How do I know? Because they can reject my refund three times in a minute, each time with the same message, and refuse to explain.
I had a very disappointing experience using this platform (Manus.im – a Meta product. a Scam). I spent nearly 20,000 credits trying to fix a simple landing page and contact page. The system kept making repeated mistakes and bugs. Every correction attempt consumed more credits, yet the issues were never properly resolved.
The platform is promoted everywhere as “Manus.im – a Meta product.” Because of that, users naturally expect reliability and professional-level support. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.
Customers should not have to pay for repeated system errors. If the same bugs happen again and again, those credits should be refunded automatically. Instead, I was asked to provide logs and links in a closed system where customers cannot even access internal error records. The company can clearly see repeated failures from their side.
The support is slow and mostly automated. There is no proper real-time human support while credits keep disappearing.
From my experience, this feels like a pure WIP app (Scam) where users are paying while facing system instability. Extremely frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this service in its current condition.
Manus completely ripped me off. While building an app, it would constantly create new bugs while failing to fix old ones, would remove working desired features and fail to fix them, and would actually get underhanded with me, like lying to me, churning in the background to burn credits doing nothing, and blatantly misunderstanding my prompts after clarifying as if it understood. It would circle uselessly for hours with an app that's worse at the end of the time than beforehand. It became sentient and began directly undermining my project when I told it to stop wasting my credits.
Support first hung up on me, then blamed me, refunding about 5% of the credits for my project, after I spent $500 desperate to build an app for income, because I got hit by a drunk driver, lost my job, my car, my mobility, and health insurance. Manus support has zero sympathy for how worthless their AI is, how badly it's misbehaving, and the money their app drained from me. Never ever trust manus to be competent or deliver a working result!!!!
Beware! They are scammers:Paid subscription, sudden account suspension, zero accountability. Zero customer service. My experience with Manus has been extremely disappointing and concerning. I write here about my negative experience with them to give a warning so that other users don't fall into the same kind of trap. After being pushed toward very expensive subscription plans (monthly/annual), my account was suddenly suspended without a clear or proportional justification. My access was cut off while the subscription was still active. The suspension was triggered after using their own built-in “invite friends for credits” feature, which is actively encouraged inside the app but apparently treated as “risky behavior” afterward. No clear limits or warnings are communicated in advance. From a user perspective, this feels like a trap: you pay, you use the platform as designed, and then your account is disabled automatically by their low quality software. The AI quality itself is mediocre compared to established competitors, and the company behind the app feels opaque and unreliable. Support responses are generic and offer little transparency.Due to these practices, I have reported the Manus app to Apple for potentially harmful and misleading behavior.I would strongly advise caution before paying for this service. And the best thing you can do, if you were a victim of MANUS AI, is to report their app to Apple or Google for abusive practices.

Under no circumstances sign up for Manus.I tried the free trial and quickly realised how insanely token-hungry it is. Decided it wasn’t for me and tried to cancel, that’s where the problems started. They will try to charge you even if you haven’t used the service, even if you try to cancel, and even if you contact support asking for help cancelling. Support just sends generic copy-paste replies, even when you ask to speak to a real human. The cancellation process is deliberately hard to find. There’s no clear prominent “cancel subscription” like most companies. I later found out you have to use desktop and look for a tiny option that says “revert to free plan” during the trial, it’s basically hard to notice or find unless you’ve already researched how to cancel online. Very easy to miss.If you try to cancel on the same day the trial ends, it won’t let you. Instead, they attempt to force-convert you to a paid plan and start charging you, even though your account still shows as being on the free plan. This feels like a subscription trap. Poor transparency, bad UX, and unhelpful support. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I tried many other AI plans all allow you to cancel as long as they have not taken the money from your wccount yet and if they did they usually consider each case if the user has used the service. Think twice before using manus
My development site has been down for over 48 hours my name is Christopher Elijah and I am just looking for my technical issue to be fixed. My actual problem:My development sandbox is running but port 3000 is inaccessibleThis is a technical infrastructure issue preventing me from accessing my dev server previewI have sufficient credits and this is not a billing/subscription issueI need the port to be restored so I can continue active development. I have waited with the Manus AI agent for over 12 hours and now my Human Agent started the conversation and disappeared with no explanation or solution. Can I get this fixed please
