Lack of transparent cancellation during trial period.I signed up for the 7-day free trial and attempted to cancel before the trial ended. However, there was no clear cancellation button available in the account settings. Cancellation required sending a manual email, with no immediate confirmation.Despite this, my card was charged after the trial ended. When I contacted support, my refund request was automatically denied, even though I had not used the service.Subscription services should provide a clear, accessible, in-account cancellation option, especially during a trial period. Requiring manual email cancellation creates unnecessary friction and is not consumer-friendly.I’m sharing this experience so others are aware of how cancellation is handled.
I used it for a month. The results were okay. In the period in bought new credits for around 200€. The billing cycle always extended (at least that is what manus claimes). Until one day manus just tried to book 850€ from my account with the reason that the billing cycle ended (had at least 20 days left till renewal and my monthly pay would not be close to that amount.) I canceled the banktransfer and got a new card. be aware this company is a SCAMafter that they took 70.000 Credits that i already have payed for. Also a really big project (at least 90.000 credits) crashed. They said they cannot restore the project and will refund the credits. (i received 10.000 credits as compensation)TOTAL SCAM ON ALL ENDS. Dont give them your money. Go to "Lovable" or some European or US competitor
Really bad experience app crashed more than 10 times trying to write the php code for wordpress theme export. Paid $40 it took 11000 credits and still no way to get the website up and running, very sh...y LLM, stay away from it!!!
I subscribed to a Manus plan priced at USD 78. On the second month renewal, without any authorization or plan upgrade, I was charged USD 390.Since November 2025, I have tried multiple times to resolve this issue directly with Manus. I was repeatedly asked to send invoices, receipts, and credit card statements, which I provided, but the process goes in circles and no solution is offered.To demonstrate good faith, I did not use any of the credits associated with the USD 390 charge. I do not recognize this charge as valid and never benefited from it.This is a clear case of incorrect and unauthorized billing. I am still waiting for a full refund of the USD 390 that was charged incorrectly.Be cautious if you subscribe, as billing issues are not handled transparently.
