I was one of many people learning how to master, mix and produce music from YouTube and the internet. Mastering.com is a one stop shop with a solid method of instruction for all 3 topics. I was specifically looking for workflow. I got much more. I’ve been on the program for a year and I have very good understanding, with mentorship, of all of these topics and more. Find fix the mix at mastering.com to get a taste of their great teaching method.
I've been in the TRE program for a little over a year, and my experience has been nothing but excellent! The curriculum is loaded with live demonstrations and practice to hone in on your skills. The mentors are very humble and provide excellent feedback that I take back to my own work. Overall my experience has been top-tier.
You want to learn how to produce, mix , or master at professional level? This is the place to learn how. I don’t feel lost anymore. I have a complete solid workflow. I have no gaps in my knowledge. This is one of the best decisions I’ve made.
The Reverse Engineer is a structured curriculum that you follow to become a full-stack producer (Mastering, Mixing and Production) Mentorship is available and encouraged throughout the process through Zoom calls. Also, the community is second to none for support, encouragement and helping each other thrive and succeed. A truly unique approach to audio engineering excellence. Highly recommended.
I have truly found a community of musicians and engineers who are deeply invested in both their own growth and the success of others. I first discovered Fix the Mix through YouTube videos and Instagram ads, where I was introduced to Michael, Jake, Caleb, and Rob. Their curriculum and mentorship have provided me with a level of clarity in my music production journey that I hadn’t experienced before. From Music Production 101 to Fix the Mix, The Reverse Engineer, and beyond (as I continue learning full-stack production), each step has been guided by some of the best mentors and creatives in the industry.
The course is very engaging, the instructors helped me with every question I had. The video demonstrations are more in depth than any other music production course I have ever taken. There a zoom call with an instructor 6 out of 7 days of the week so I could get help almost everyday. The course goes over the three processes of music, mastering, mixing and producing. highly recommend it to anyone who want to learn everything about music productions and then some more.
I have been studying music and sound for a long time. If you have the means for building your own legit home studio, this is an excellent program. They are always growing and evolving with the industry. I went to an audio college back in 2001 and it was a nice introduction to large format studios and getting used to the industry but I didn't really learn nearly the skills that I did working with the folks at Mastering.com. I normally don't give out a perfect score but they deserve it. Their heart is in the right place and they go above and beyond to achieve excellence.
After swimming around aimlessly in an endless sea of information, I opted to join Mastering.com and often wish that I had done so sooner. Their Reverse Engineering curriculum is very well structured as it shined a light on the gaps that have slowed me down for some time. The community is a bonus where there is support at every corner. The mentors are hands-down brilliant and pretty entertaining while offering up invaluable feedback and guidance.Overall, it’s been a great experience — one that I can’t recommend enough for any and everyone looking to further their education and experience with all things music production.
