Very sharp out of the box but then they dull ,will use world's best knife sharpener which has sharpened my other chefs knives ,but must say bit dissatisfied especially as they aren't cheap
UPDATE: He received the knife order but the order they can't seem to locate is the one in question. They have been paid by the card he used but he got no confirmation or email. Thats 72 bucks they literally took from my husband. I mean after telling the guy in the phone yesterday that we were not interested in any "extras" that's when it went downhill.
Let me tell you about my husbands experience with this company. He is currently in the hospital and the guy that called was trying to get him to buy knives that he had already paid for. Upon checking his banking account we seen both orders were processed and paid to this company but they claim they only see one order.
Also the guy got rude when we told him multiple times we didn't want anything extra and basically told us "good luck getting our order".
This is not how you run a business. You don't call someone and get them to try to buy more and now we have to watch his account.
STAY AWAY!
The so-called responses are generic / identical. I doubt there is actually a person replying to complaints.
The knives are nothing special and hard to store safely due to awkward shapes.
Failed to deliver the sheath I ordered, claiming that the address I gave was wrong. That is not the case. The label image they sent showed the correct address. I do not recommend dealing with this company at all.
The knives are made in China , NOT made in Japan, are actually NOT easy to use (or store), and their order fulfillment process is terrible. Their choice of SpeedX (also a terrible company) as the last mile delivery service was huge mistake. They claimed a delivery exception occurred but that is just not believable. The package made it their local distribution center and the address was correct. So, either they didn't feel like delivering it or they lost it or they are just massively incompetent.
My father had to demand they ship another one when the first one never arrived.
Again, Stay away.
I I bought the for my grandson and one for me because I. Wasn’t.well my other grandson helped me wrap some of. The presents when he wrapped his brothers to see his face was price less then i. Said you don’t cook and he said. A lot. Of his mates Have been talking about them and e was going. To do more I gave Him mines now will buy one for my self .is the 70% still off
I placed my order for knives on December 11, 2025, with a promised delivery time of two weeks. However, they arrived over a month late. While the knives were eventually delivered in good condition, the delay was quite frustrating, especially given their proximity to my location.
Having used many knives throughout the years, I can confidently say that this chef knife is a remarkable find that gives you a sense of having struck gold. It embodies the essence of a professional-grade Japanese blade while being affordable for everyday cooks.
Key Highlights:
Impressively Sharp: Right out of the box, the edge is incredibly sharp. It effortlessly cuts through tomatoes and tough meats with minimal effort. The 15° cutting angle (compared to the typical 20° on most Western knives) significantly enhances precision.
User-Friendly Design: The balance of this knife was the most surprising feature for me. With a distinctive index finger cut-out and an ergonomic beechwood handle, it feels like a natural extension of your hand. Whether chopping or slicing, you maintain complete control.
Premium Aesthetic: If I encountered this knife in a specialty store, I would expect a price of $150 or higher. The hammered finish on the blade not only prevents food from sticking but also gives it a rugged, handcrafted look that is visually striking on a magnetic rack.
Final Verdict:
For those seeking the performance and appeal of a high-end Japanese knife without the hefty price tag, this is the one. It's easy to use, retains its sharpness, and truly appears to belong in a professional chef's toolkit.
Purchased 4 from a social media platform. They are very sharp and we really enjoy using them. We gifted the other 3 for the holidays, and the recipients loved them. We use ours daily for preparing everything from meat to vegetables. They remain quite sharp and are easy to sharpen if necessary.
I ordered a knife on November 16th, expecting it to arrive within 2 to 5 days. It still hasn't shown up, despite multiple emails from the support team assuring me it would arrive in time for Christmas. If you need a prompt delivery or any delivery at all, I recommend steering clear of this service. Very disappointing 😞
This knife is truly one of the best I have ever used. Although my experience with it is still new, it has surpassed my expectations. While the promotional video might be a bit exaggerated, the knife performs exactly as promised. It is extremely sharp, which I learned firsthand during my initial uses. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking and needs a reliable, sharp blade in their kitchen arsenal. It arrived very well packaged, and I suggest considering a sheath not just for the blade's protection but also for the user's safety during storage.
