Avoid this product completely. One sensor on the probe consistently measures 8 degrees C lower than the others, making it ineffective and forcing me to guess. This issue is not a one-off; it happens every time I cook, with the same sensor malfunctioning.

Steer clear of this

Steer clear of this! I received a probe as a gift two years ago. The first one failed after a few uses. Customer support was decent and agreed to replace it. However, the new one has connection issues, even when fully charged. My last two expensive beef dishes have been completely ruined. I cooked a 2kg rolled sirloin for nine people, set the internal temperature to 50°C for a final 55°C after resting, followed all the instructions, and yet the beef was well done and ruined! £70 wasted, and the previous £80 Tomahawk was ruined too. Both were overcooked and far from rare! Incredibly disappointing, and I won't use it again. It ruined my day and a meal I spent hours preparing.

Products have issues and lack durability.

I've gone through three in two years as they don’t last. One probe stopped charging, another came apart, and now the third one (brand new seven months ago) has a charger base that isn’t working. Their service is good, as they send replacement parts, but the products still don’t last. It works well when cooking meat, but reliability is a major issue. Disappointed and likely to try another product next time.

Poor construction quality

The probe fell apart while I was removing it from the meat and now it doesn’t function. I had used it well, but this was my second probe as the first one also broke. I've now upgraded to a newer model that has Wi-Fi, hoping it resolves the connection issues.

Terrible product

Based on other reviews, it seems there might be a recent quality issue. The probe often fails to work—frequent connectivity problems and it regularly indicates low charge even after charging for days. It’s unpredictable and one of the most frustrating products I’ve owned. I returned it for inspection, and they claimed everything was fine, but the next cook had a red flashing light. A complete waste of money.

Reliability has declined over the years

I've been using these products for years, but they seem to be getting less reliable. Today, on Thanksgiving, there was a cloud service issue—terrible timing to lose temperature reading capabilities. I had to rush to buy an analog probe. Disappointed once again.

Complete waste

I've had the block for a couple of years and used it less than two dozen times. It has always had connection issues, but this time I’m done. It wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi during Thanksgiving. I called support, and they said the base unit needs replacing, which costs $150 since it’s out of warranty. Why would I pay that for another unreliable unit when I’ve barely used it? I regret purchasing this and will look for better-reviewed options.

Frequent disconnections and unhelpful support.

I reached out to customer service about a probe under warranty that keeps disconnecting after 5 or 6 hours. After an hour on live chat running tests, the conclusion was unhelpful, just to message them if it happens again. It’s infuriating; the probe isn’t functioning properly!
