I bought my wife a beautiful and rather expensive japanese chef's knife as a christmas present, with her name engraved. Alas, when she unwrapped it, it was the wrong knife - with her name engraved. After some correspondence in between christmas and new year's eve, I agreed with customer service/Harmen Lommers, that I keep the knife we already have received, and Meesterslijpers would hastily send me the correct one, engraved also, with a hefty discount, to make up for their error. That is now ONE MONTH ago. The excuses pile up (the knife originally ordered is sold out; the alternative knife ends up also sold out), time goes, nothing happens. Now a very dissatisfied customer.

We were excited to purchase a Global knife set and Kazoku knife block, but the customer service was shockingly unprofessional. Email replies were incomplete, and when we called for clarification, the representative denied previous communication, became irritated, and hung up the phone while I was speaking — which is highly disrespectful. This behavior has no excuse and would not happen in any case against a customer. This situation ruined our day and our trust. We decided to return everything not because of the products, but purely because of the unacceptable behavior of their staff. We expected an apology from the staff member who hung up on us, but that didn't happen. Normally, an apology is one of the criteria of civility. Apparently, the company doesn't treat its customers in that manner. This dealer does not reflect the professional standards expected from brands like Global. I've never ever recommend this store or never ever do shopping from this store.
Great prices and a wide variety of products. Very friendly too.Placed a number of orders and they were sent out promptly within 24 hours, via UPS to the UK.Took a few days to receive the items, but that was due to UPS delays, which is normal for UPS, unfortunately.
Was a bit hesitant as I never heard of this shop before but ought some knives and a knive bag recently. Decent pricing, quick delivery, good packaging. Free engraving on knives. What more can you expect.Will buy there again and will recommend it to others!
I made my order with delivery address in Athens, Greece. Despite that on your site, when I made my order, stated delivery 7-9 days, My order hasn't move from Gdansk depot for 7 days! DHL service can't give me more information except what is written on there tracking site. Your Customer service doesn't respond on my emails. Hopefully with this review you will look in to my case and contact me!!!
