Review Time
My late mother had equipment to be collected, electric hospital bed, air mattress etc and was booked in for collection took time off work for Millbrook to let me down on collection it was there fault but they just expected me to take more time off work instead of putting the situation rightI said in discuss shall i just dump it then.. they said that fine!! Disgusting there are people crying out for these’s bed’s & mattresses even a lifting hoist & they are happy with me just to dump it!!!
My father has been supplied with equipment for 2 years. Have wasted days waiting for collections and deliveries. Some which have never turned up. Until now I haven’t bothered leaving a review but now I’ve had enough. Recently had a chair delivered. Realised it had a broken wheel and returned it. Today we received another. It doesn’t recline so obviously not serviced. My father’s OT has requested an urgent repair but haven’t heard from the company. We now have this sodding great chair blocking his bedroom causing myself and his carers no end of inconvenience. We have nowhere to put it. Just the mention of Millbrook gives me a feeling of dread. The healthcare professionals we deal with feel the same way. They need a good shakeup if they’re to keep supplying the NHS.
I had one visit said he did not have the equipment. Anyway a 6 weeks later. They have missed the last 2 weekend appointments and today. Just one call to say sorry. Probably the worst company I have dealt with for missed appointments. Very shameful to act in such a manner to the most vulnerable people..
If I could give less than the 1 Star, I would. We live 3 hours away from our 102 year old mother who has gone into a care home.I am disabled my wife is over 70.We are trying to arrange collection of the equipment she has from this company. They will not compromise at all on a time to collect, Their expectation is that my wife drive that distance and want, in a property with no heating, for possibly 8 hours to accomodate their driver. My wife is in tears. Their contact with NHS should be stopped. I will be contacting them and the press to bring their behaviour to their attention.
My father in law passed away last week 4th October, district nurses arranged collection of the profiling bed the following day, the target for collecting was the 9th Oct my 82 year old MIL chased this today and was told the earliest collection is 3rd December! They have 3 rooms now in disarray and the bed he passed away in sat there as a constant reminder. Such a lack of compassion. This is not okay Millbrook!
