Mimsafe Sweden is excellent

After issues with the old UK distributor, its eventual collapse meant that my returned order had no one to accept it at the warehouse. Mimsafe Sweden tried to issue a refund for my order but were unable to do this as they could no longer access the UK system. However, they did send me a far more expensive bigger cage (without charging the difference) and waited for months for me to be in a position to accept the delivery, whereupon it arrived very quickly. I really cannot fault mimsafe Sweden customer services, in particular Sandra, who was incredibly helpful.

Recently purchased my crate through Sussex Gundog Supplies who were the company that took over the UK warehouse stock and shipping! Highly recommended, super fast fully insured shipping UK to UK and speedy customer service!

Good experience via Sweden office

I had read the negative reviews about the UK arm of the company so decided to contact the Swedish office prior to ordering. Glad I did. They responded immediately and confirmed that my choice was in stock (single XL Variocage) and would be dispatched directly from Sweden as they now handle all UK orders. The cage duly arrived 7 days later. A little daunting when first unpacked, but everything was there and instructions were clear. Just needed another pair of hands when fitting the roof section (tip: fit and loosely secure with the nuts at the rear first before trying to slot into the front section). Once completed and installed I’m very pleased. Lots of room for our Chow and pleased we went with 70cm height option as she can stand/sit up fully. No rattles or movement (using the included tethers). Feels very sturdy and gives peace of mind.

UK Customer service abysmal, Sweden Excellent

I have paid £545 for a travel crate for my dog in April. I have received no replies to many enquiries as to where my product is. Eventually decided to contact the company in Sweden and did get an instant reply apologising and telling me they are having terrible trouble with their UK section of the company. I have now got a DHL delivery date next week so a special thanks goes to Sandra at MIMsafe Sweden. I think they are very stressed out dealing with the UK's branch problems. I have given 1 star for the lack of any reply but really could give 5 stars for the Swedish team but it really shouldn't of needed that escalation.

Don't buy from this company

Don't buy from this company I spent nearly 900£ on 9th April for a new dog crate - no update on tracking and I have called them and emailed them so many times and no one bothers to get back in touch after 6weeks - truly shocking. I am now locked in a dispute via PayPal who sent email to Mimsafe and they haven't responded - no surprise there Meanwhile- I have a dog that can't go out in new car for nearly 2 months and many hundreds pounds down and wasting so much time on this useless company

No communication or assurances of delivery

I have now been waiting 9 weeks for my crate. I have left voicemails and sent emails. I have had no reply.I have spent £720. I paid via Paypal so hoping I can recover the cost so I can find another company for a much needed crate for my dog.I cannot recommend this company at all. Such a shame as the crate looked really good.

Still no refund

I was told on the day of my last review I would have a refund and that the refund was to be increased from 10-15% plus postage refund , and that would be processed within a few hours , still nothing received , have raised with credit card company and PayPal.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, lack of contact and unfulfilled promises. Angus advised me on the 15th March I would receive my order within the next 2 weeks, I waited until after Easter then tried calling again, I called 4 times on the 2nd April leaving numerous voicemails with no response, emails are pointless because again these are not responded to, I finally got through to Angus on the 2nd April who advise I would receive my order by the end of the week. I did not, I tried calling again on the 9th April 3 times with no luck, I called again on the 10th April and managed to speak to Angus who advise I would get the crate by the end of the week, still nothing, it is now the 17th April, 8 weeks since my original order, no contact, no confirmation of delivery, I have spoken to him again today and he advised I would get it tomorrow, these are expensive crates, customer service is absolutely shocking and I will never order from mimsafe again, I will never recommend them to anyone! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Avoid uk side of company.

Purchased a cage and like so many others on here heard nothing for 8 weeks. Sent emails and left messages but received nothing back. Eventually went to my bank and did a successful charge back for my £400 cost. Terrible uk side of the company. Avoid !
