Moego creates a disconnect with my customers. They message my clients from their number, leaving my customers to respond to them instead of me. Additionally, they send emails from their account, resulting in my clients replying to Moego rather than reaching out to me. Moego solicits reviews from my customers on their platform, which gives the impression that they are helping me achieve 5 stars, but these reviews are not visible on Google or Yelp, offering me no real benefit. My customers can't find me through Moego, and I can't ask them to rate me again, which feels inconsiderate. If I attempt to include a link to my Google reviews in their text report, it cannot be made clickable. There are too many issues to cover in this review, especially regarding email marketing. I've contacted their support line about every problem I've encountered, and while a representative kindly explains how the system is supposed to function, they merely promise to submit a change request. After 3-4 months with them, no changes have been made. Furthermore, the person who onboarded us recommended the wrong card reader based on our needs, and when we needed to purchase the correct one, they refused to refund us for the incorrect one, insisting we prove the recommendation was made verbally. We are losing clients because of Moego. If they genuinely cared, they wouldn't leave a polite comment blaming me; they would address the issues directly.

The onboarding representative suggested a card reader that turned out to be incorrect, and when I sought a refund, I was told I needed proof of a verbal conversation. We're losing clients because of this service, and if they truly cared, they would proactively address these issues instead of placing blame on me.

We’ve received numerous inquiries, and once everything was set up, it was a relief as the platform manages everything automatically. Integration with our website was straightforward. My favorite feature is the smart scheduling, which we use without location limits. Most appointments cluster in the same area, saving us time. The user interface is friendly, and once you navigate the settings, everything is easy to use. It has excellent integrations for client reviews, and the SMS feature works seamlessly. This platform truly offers everything in one place, and I highly recommend it!
Caution for Grooming and Salon Owners: If you utilize this payment service, be aware that your clients are treated as its clients, and your transaction volume is counted under its name, not yours. I’ve processed significant amounts through their system and have been waiting for a simple verification letter for months without success. They also advertised financing options but redirected me to a different lender with a credit check and high-interest rates after I signed up. Be cautious—once your transactions go through this service, you lose control over your own data and financing choices.
This grooming software application is fantastic for managing grooming operations. Transitioning from two other software options allowed me to see the benefits it offers: - Outstanding customer support that is responsive and helpful - Smart scheduling - Electronic service agreements - Custom intake forms - Comprehensive reporting - Integrated payment processing with a custom tipping feature - Ability to defer convenience fees to clients, saving owners money - Automated reminders and confirmations. However, it still lacks some features: - Smooth integration between desktop and mobile, as some functionalities work better on one than the other - No integrated Google reviews - No batch smart scheduling - Direct texting options for clients. Overall, it’s a great app but still has room for improvement to become the leading grooming software in the industry. I would still recommend it over others.
Initially, I admit I didn’t fully grasp the details of this dog grooming online booking system before subscribing. After launching, we learned that our clients must pay to book their pets through the system. We already pay a monthly fee and higher credit card processing charges, so it’s unclear why our clients need to pay as well. Online booking saves us time, yet customers are charged extra. Now, we have to find a new grooming system and restart the lengthy process. We raised this issue with the service, but they stated it couldn't be changed, although they might consider shifting the fee to us in the future. I’m frustrated that our move to online booking has resulted in setbacks.
