I had a vehicle through the mobility scheme, and as the lease was ending, it needed to go for an MOT. The car was taken to the garage, and during that time, my new vehicle arrived at the dealership. While waiting without a car, I signed the new contract, and the service arranged to collect the old vehicle. However, now I’ve been informed that signing the new contract means I have lost my good condition payment. This is absolutely absurd since I maintained the car well and took it for the MOT on time. The delay in servicing was the garage's fault, as they didn’t attend to the car for two weeks. No one informed me that signing a new contract would forfeit my good condition payment; had I known, I would have opted not to sign. This will definitely be my last experience leasing a vehicle through the mobility scheme.
This program claims to assist disabled drivers, but it's a complete disappointment! After a no-fault claim, the issues started. The support team took the claim details with ease, but the service provider was supposed to offer a replacement vehicle and has consistently failed to have any available. I booked the car for repairs with the garage and had to change the appointment three times; it’s still under repair over a month later due to the lack of available vehicles. They don’t communicate or follow up! When I contacted the main organization, they pointed fingers at the service provider, and the service provider blamed the main organization. It’s a chaotic situation; I wouldn’t recommend any of these organizations, which all have contracts with the main program, showing a lack of care for the vulnerable individuals they claim to serve. A "0 star" rating option should be added because that’s what these companies truly deserve. Stay away!
Motability has helped me tremendously with the problems I’ve had with my mobility scooter - as mentioned in a previous review. They are polite, and their willingness to support me is exemplary. They do what they say they will do. Each time I’ve had to contact them, they couldn’t do enough for me.
I'm a person that has cancer and motability just don't car new car end June 25 within a few weeks back a dealership with steering fault then within 4 months car will not charge dealership has it for nearly 6 weeks and within a few days will not charge properly again motability did not want to cancel agreement for it being a faulty car they just pass the buck to rac who are all so useless you have to do all the phoning about sorting out hire cars and dealership and hyundai uk in the end they agree to cancel but say i have to pay £250 ok with that but tell you you can not get another car for 24 months I've had cancellations in the past but also for faulty car this time I tried my hardest to get it sorted with the car it should have been a 12 month away not 24 months but heath has to come first but they are not interested just want your money
This scheme is supposed to assist disabled driver's but it's a farce!Do not be tempted to join this scheme after having a no fault claim the incompetence began. DIRECT LINE happily took the details of the claim.EUROPACARS were supposed to provide a replacement vehicle but it never has any vehicle's available.Booked the car in for repair with the garage and had to amend it 3 times, the vehicle still been repaired over a month later because EUROPACAR does not have any availability of vehicles . It doesn't call or get back to you! When approached MOTABILITY it says it's RAC, call DIRECT LINE it blames EUROPACAR it's a shambles; would not recommend any of these organisation's which all have contract with MOTABILITY, and that tells you that it does not care about the vulnerable people is claims to provide it's service to.The option to record a "0 star" rating should be introduced because that's what these companies deserve.Avoid!
I have just had to cancel my husband’s mobility car due to being terminally ill and not being able to drive anymore. The service was 10 out of 10. The gentleman who helped was very professional, understanding and caring. Thank you for everything
