I’d give zero stars if I could. My experience is identical to so many others’. Fortunately my bank stopped what it saw as a suspicious transaction. I should say transactions plural because in addition to the $9.99 it tried to swipe another amount almost three times that. DON’T TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE
I would give zero stars if it was an option. I was looking at their program for Tai Chi, didn’t know it was a muscle building site. I was looking at a trial for $9.99 but then it flipped to $12.99 and I was suspicious. Suddenly I get these notices from Paypal of 3 charges! One was $34.99. The total was $58. I immediately contacted Paypal to try to stop any transactions. They told me to contact the company directly, which I did. This was within 30 minutes of these charges. We’ll see what happens but I would stay away from these money grabbers. The next step will be a dispute with my credit card.
I subscribed to a one-month plan at US$7.99, only to discover that I was subsequently charged for two additional subscriptions (US$34.99 and US$12.99) that I had not authorized.Upon contacting MuscleMonster for a refund of these unauthorized subscriptions, I was met with a refusal. I have since initiated a dispute with my bank and am seeking the assistance of Trading Standards.Additionally, the one-month daily yoga plan does not accurately reflect a “one-month plan”. After demonstrating 10 techniques (one per day) and 4 days of meditation techniques (one per day), the plan resets to the beginning, resulting in a 30-day workout plan.Too sneaky.
