I shopped around for an alternative to mainstay video hosting sites for a long time, and when I found Muse.AI I was so impressed with the quality, the customer service, the features and more that are not in existence anywhere else that I could find that I plan to make sure that I use them for all my video content forever.The AI has helped my team and I explore our video collections in ways that have never been done before.I can not articulate the amount of appreciation that I have for Muse.AI and their product. If I could I would rate even higher than 5 stars.
I've been using muse.ai as an early adopter for some time now and I'm really impressed with the product.I mostly use it to store and serve video and don't quite use the video search functionality yet, but will forward to explore that. I like the clean and minimalistic UI and the fact that video loads very quickly.The amount of storage and price is the best in the market even without the fancy features so I'd highly recommend this for folks looking for a video serving platform.
I started on the beta a year ago and while I liked the product idea, it was a little slow to upload videos. However, I have recently noticed a marked improvement all round and particularly with upload speeds and the speech transcription. I love that I can easily share video links in whatsapp with friends and family (including for my large wedding video!) and have started using this instead of wetransfer to allow friends to see my homemade videos.
I use Muse.ai to search through conference videos and quickly find snippets of interest. I frequently use the key word search function and have found some really interesting video scenes by virtue of skipping through related keywords. This is unique to this platform and I have found it invaluable. This platform can improve further but it is already super useful.
Muse.ai beats my expectations by far. They not only have the best video hosting out there, but also offer an awesome AI solution to transcribe the audio in your videos to searchable text. The face detection is also a super handy feature to allow you jumping into scenes where a character appears!Seriously, at this price, with the amount of storage and AI features you're getting, this is a steal. Plus, customer support is super friendly and more than happy to help!
I ended up not using the system for now, but during the trial I uploaded a bunch of videos and everything worked great and was very fast. I really liked how quickly the auto captions populated once the video was uploaded.I also had a question about something and their help team (via chat) went above and beyond, even helped me tweak something with the javascript I was using to embed their player in a modal window. Highly Recommended!!
Very impressed with what these guys are doing with Muse. With Muse our clients can find exactly what they need in a video without wasting any time. There is also the bonus of when you make a suggestion for features that are in alignment with making Muse better they get it done in record time. This has really helped with our implementation for our new platform.
Muse.ai didn't have a free trial mode but they did mention that they would cover refunds in 72 hours. I have decided to pay for it to give it a try, and their service does do a good job at what it does, it just didn't do exactly what i needed. So i reached out to customer support and it's been by far the worst support I've received. It's now been weeks, with many follow up emails, and I'm not hearing back from them and I still didn't get a refund. It's now been well over 72 hours and I wouldn't be surprised if they refuse me the refund because of it. I would avoid this service entirely because of the extremely poor, or even non-existant, customer support.---Edit: Be wary of reviews posted shortly after mine. Muse has finally responded to me, has still not issued a refund, and is trying to cover my review because I didn't want to remove it until i received the refund. Be aware!
