Review Time
First of all, to the PR team at Muziker: Save your pathetic copy-paste replies under this review. Do not take people for fools. You claim to act according to EU guidelines, but in reality, your methods border on systematic fraud. Just read this and be ashamed of what you are pulling here.
This is about music. Out there are people burning for their passion. They painstakingly save every penny for months, barely scraping by, just to fulfill their ultimate dream. Your marketing babbles about "love for music" – what a hypocritical joke. Your business model is hardcore, disgusting, ruthless capitalism, and to you, customers are nothing more than annoying cash cows.
Here is the historical breakdown of my nightmare – a warning to everyone:
I ordered a Peavey 6505 II tube amplifier for over €1,250. The package arrives, I unpack it, inspect the device, and I am absolutely shocked: A total write-off right from the factory. A tube is jammed into the socket twisted by 180 degrees. Anyone with even a spark of knowledge knows: With these octal sockets, this is physically only possible if the guide pin was snapped off with brute force and the socket was completely destroyed.
I photographed the defect meticulously and reported it exactly 60 minutes after delivery. What started then was an unprecedented gauntlet.
The dismantling by "Miriam" and the fairy-tale technician: The communication was a disrespectful chaos, bouncing wildly back and forth between emails and WhatsApp. The support agent Miriam and a supposed "technician" seriously tried to play me for a fool. Their absurd claim: The socket wasn't broken, the manufacturer's logo on the tube was "just printed upside down". They spit in my face, deliberately try to undermine my expertise, and treat me like a complete idiot, just to cover up an obvious warranty case.
Extortion instead of EU law: Muziker boasts about adhering to EU laws. The reality? I was cold-bloodedly denied my legal right to a free return of defective goods. Instead, I was literally threatened by Miriam: They would simply withdraw my claim. I should kindly use my 14-day right of withdrawal instead. The cowardly ulterior motive: Then I would have had to pay the freight shipping for this 25-kilo monster (approx. €50) out of my own pocket!
Escalation and the silence that followed: I had to heavily threaten them with EU courts, European Consumer Protection, and lawyers just to be heard at all. I escalated the case with PayPal. Only when PayPal decided the case in my favor based on exactly these EU laws, the return suddenly went through. Muziker's reaction to my last emails demanding my money? Icy silence. Emails were simply ignored. Unbelievable.
My conclusion to everyone out there: Steer clear of this shop. As long as you just pay, everything is fine. But woe betide you if you get delivered defective garbage – then you will get to know the true, disgusting face of Muziker. Anyone who orders here finances a system that despises and exploits musicians.
