July 2025Pathetic Booking Experience I booked a car today through their portal. After paying the full amount and T&C clearly showing the requirement for three documents,- DL, PAN and Aadhar card, I received a call from their customer service agent demanding to share additional documents.I shared the above three documents on WhatsApp and all were verified through Digilocker.I asked the reason for the additional document and I was told that the verification team is unable to process. There was nothing wrong with the documents but issue with Mychoize portal.I refused to provide further additional document and I was told the booking will be cancelled. It's totally preposterous.These guys are so unprofessional. I paid in full and provided all the required documents but they are still refusing booking.The customer service agent called me twice and bullishly told me that booking will be cancelled.They are horrible.
This company is a complete scam. I booked a car a few hours in advance for 24 hours. I’m 18, and throughout the booking process they made it seem like that’s perfectly fine—as long as you’re “above 18.” They verified my licence, PAN, took full payment, and only after that told me I can’t take the car unless I have a co-driver above 21.This rule is conveniently buried in a 35-page T&C document and hidden in the FAQ section, but not shown anywhere during booking—no pop-up, no warning, nothing. How is that acceptable?When I asked for a refund, they refused. Apparently scamming people out of their money using technicalities is their idea of “company policy.” You take people’s money, deny them the service, and then say “no refunds”? That’s not a policy, that’s just cheating.I wouldn’t recommend MyChoize to anyone. If you’re a student or someone booking in an emergency, stay far away. This is a pathetic excuse for a business.
Total cheats.. they wouldn’t even refund the extra fuel I had put, but the last time I had taken their service, they insisted that I fill the tank as the fuel was lower than at the beginning of the trip. Such lopsided standards.. The car itself, a 2024 fronx model was not that great. It hardly has power when climbing the hill.. Never book from mychoice and don’t trust them while booking from zoom cars app as well.. Better to get cars from individual owners..
The team I met with at Bangalore were good, friendly and helpful. IN fact they even kept my sunglasses attachment safe and passed it back to me.Unfortunately the TOYOTA INNOVA Crysta I was provided had done over 214000 km and was scratched and dented all around. It was not a true Crysta, with no properly functioning USB port for phone charging, no features such as Car Play etc.The seat covers prevented us from using seat belts as we could not buckle the belts, making it unsafe for travel.We felt fortunate that we did not face any mechanical issues during the trip.I would think twice now to go back to MyChoize for a car.The cars are nowhere near what reputed and international car rentals would offer, and the company should really reflect on this and perhaps update their fleet, even it if meant increasing the prices, as the current prices are not low, and certainly not a great value for money.Finally, the mileage limitations need review as well, as they are quite low.
Here, they takes full advance payments and then we are stuck. mychoize are fraud and cheating people.From Bangalore, we booked XUV 500 for a family trip to Wayanad and Coorg for 5 days. We selected XUV 500 and incurred extra cost for having extra comfort and safety but it resulted other way round. mychoize team assigned a XUV500 old car to us on 26-May-24 at morning 7 am. The Car condition was pathetic , totally unhygienic from inside, smelling and all. Tyres were in such a bad condition and we took risk to drive it in hilly areas on ghats. Interiors were damaged , fuel tank cap was not opening. FASTTAG was damaged and resulted us to pay double the toll charges. In Wayanad, we encountered Breakdown and spent 4-5 hrs in getting it repaired on our own cost. With all these hassles our trip got spoiled when we are claiming for the compensation money and to reimburse the toll charges and mechanic charges , the staffs are showing attitudes and denying for settling the Payments.mychoize team as an organization are fraud and cheating people. Be aware and its highly alarming once you book you are trapped.
Mychoice are real crooks & frauds. They gave us a Haryana registered Yellow board number plate in Uttarakhand. They do not reveal the car number well before hand sighting frivolous reasons. we ended up paying Rs 220 per day. Problem is that the call center does not reveal these additional cost details in advance, else we have a chance to ask. Got to know from the car rental company(Goyal car rentals) that it is illegal to drive a self drive car.
PLEASE DONT OPT FOR THIS..UR TRIP PLAN WILL BE RUINEDThey charged me 23k for vitara brezza but gave a car which is worse conditionwhen i called the call centre to book the car, the lady said all their cars are of 2020,21,22,23 models only.. but the car they gave me is of JAN-2019.. which already ran 71k KMs.. the car was sounding horribly whenever it need to climb any height.when i booked the car the call centre lady said it was a petrol variant.. but they gave a deisel variant.their office executives are also too arrogant. one guy called Mohan he speaks very arrogantly and dont care to listen to your words too
