This company is clearly a scam, very misleading. My 16-year-old daughter fell for the £1 IQ test and had £29.99 withdrawn from her account a week later. This was not made clear upfront, and it's a significant amount for her to lose. The bank recognized the company but could only block further payments without taking further action. Please be cautious and do NOT provide your card details to this fraudulent company.
This company conceals a difficult-to-notice tick box. I paid £1 via a payment service for IQ test results, and weeks later, they withdrew £29.99 from my account. I received no results for my payment, nor anything for the amount they took. Attempts to secure a refund have been futile. I feel like I’m just communicating with a robot. As an elderly individual, I find it unacceptable that they are allowed to operate this way. BEWARE!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This is a scam; they deducted four payments of £29.99 for a subscription I didn’t knowingly sign up for. Fortunately, I was refunded by my payment service. BE CAREFUL if considering any tests with them.
Do not pay for the low quality test. They will sign you up secretly for a subscription costing £29.99 per month. When you contact them, a friendly bot will reply telling you they cannot find you on their system... Did you use a different email (they're phishing), or did you use PayPal? Every time you reply, you will get the same reply, perhaps worded slightly differently. Go to your bank and report it as fraud. Report it to police. Look at the negative feedback before you get caught!!UPDATE: I have just filed the £29.99 as fraud with my bank. They said they are aware of this company and have approved my fraud claim and are forwarding the info to the police. Myiq's bot has changed now from its first 100+ emails to me saying they didn't know my name or email address to saying it cannot refund me as per their policy. Suddenly it recognises my name and email address! Anyway, make that fraud claim with your bank if you've been tricked by these pigs.
Total scam. I paid £1 for an IQ test then a week later £29.99 was taken off my credit card. I did not sign up for a subscription. I tried to cancel on the website but the cancellation button would not work. I sent them an email but it is a bit who replies with a standard email. In the email they asked for all my bank details which clearly I did not give them. I have contacted my bank and I hope that is the end of the subscription but getting a refund will be impossible. Do not use this company!!
Please do not use myiq.com. I took part in the test for a small fee. It was not made clear to me that I would then be charged £29.99 automatically each month thereafter. I only discovered yesterday that I had been charged monthly for 3 months without notice from the company.I think this company engages in sharp business practices. DO NOT USE IT.If you take the iq test you will automatically be signed up as a subscriber without your knowledge.I have now cancelled via myiq cancellation protocol and have informed my bank to place a block on any more attempts to take payments. Do not be tempted to use this website.
