Review Time
I was a little confused about this company after reading the last few reviews or so. I have decided to email my chosen charity regarding mytennights and they have confirmed they receive 100% of my donations. That was enough reassurance for me. I have also looked into mytennights website in detail and they are very transparent in what they do with your money. I don't know how much more clear they can be. I have used them for the past few years and will continue to do so as they make my life easier with the arrangements for donations.I took my time out to write this review for those who get confused by other reviews too. *About MyTenNights.com*No offense but this isn't a charity, it's a technology COMPANY who take at least a 15% cut from each donation + *1.5 MILLION GBP* paid to *10 staff members* plus more money cashed out by top execs (around 170k) in this last financial year.*My Ten Nights is a tech platform to charities, not a charity but a company for profit.*Just donate directly to your local charity who has legit folks operating it and spending your donations correctly.People need to understand CHARITY!
Donate directly to a genuine charity that gives atleast 95% of your money to the cause of your choice, rest in admin. There are charities that give 100% of your money to the needy also. Don't be fooled by tech companies and false advertising! Rest Allah knows best 🙏
Hi Guys, I have been sceptical on donating to this platform this year.I have emailed few times but the reply that I get from them is very vague and not specific. they said that every year they nominate a charity and they deposit the fonds to them and every year might change.Not too sure to trust them, I contacted the fundraising regulator and they said that they are registered as a NON CHARITY.For what I understand they have created an easy system of collecting money from people and then they will take a good percentage and then what it remains they will send it to charities company.I have donated in the past to my 10 nights but now I will change my bank details as I do not want to send money this year.I hope this helps you deciding.
Please give to the charity direct. They take up to 15% admin fee from the charity and some more from you. They paid £1.5m+ for salaries of 10 people and owner cashed out £170k last year on top. This is not a registered charity, it's a very profitable tech company with huge cash balances and money spent on investments. Charities pay for this tech platform to make it easier for people to donate but you can spend your money better by donating direct.
Not sure if they are a registered charity..l have emailed them asking this as there is no charity registration on their website..Be careful muslims..do your thorough investigation first as most 5☆ reviews could potentially be from their own staff.
