Review Time
Im not overly impressed with this company. I have never used it before. But like other reviews delivery is an issue.I did the test thing so they recommended some wines even though I said I preferred red my order mainly consists of white (which is fine not a deal breaker) However the issue for me is that I ordered my wines nearly 2 weeks ago and specified a delivery date for a time I will be home and able to get my wine. It hasnt been delivered. I contacted the site AI said there was a delay! Why?? Why offer a delivery date then not deliver. It cant even blame YODEL as they havent even given the wines to yodel. Update wine has arrived today. Had to redirect it though as I wasnt in to receive it.
I ordered a case of wine for a Christmas delivery. Was told I would receive my delivery today (20th) then told the 21st now I haven't been given a delivery date. Called their office to cancel my order but their phones are currently switched off due to answering emails and there is nowhere on their website to cancel a delivery. I have now cancelled my subscription Stay away from this company
Membership and Subscriptions mean different things!Got a holiday voucher for $100 off my purchase. However the voucher automatically signs you up to be an angel. Checked under Subscriptions to make sure I wasn't signed up. The website and app said I had no subscriptions. Still got charged $40 for an angel membership. When I called customer service to figure the problem, they were very rude and condescending.
The prices are fair and offer good value. I like the support given to small independent wine producers. It's fun to see what you get with the random surprise offering. It's also good that you can order products you are already aware of at a good discount. The website functionality is good, especially on mobile, because it is quick.
Having been an angel for many years I am very disappointed to report that due to my recent order I am cancelling my subscription.Having waited three days for the carrier to not find my address ( no previous problems) I cancelled my order to be received by OK NO PROBLEM BUT THE MONEY BUILT UP IN MY ACCOUNT WILL BE RETURNED EACH MONTH BY MY MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION SO THERE IS NO MEANING To ‘BEING AN ‘ANGEL ANY LONGER’ This company model is doomed to failure
Been a member for many years but have this morning canceled my membership as the delivery of wine is either chaotic or non existent.Its a real shame as they have some great wines and growers but the lack of organisation around deliveries is painful and frustrating.
They sent out a batch of wine after I cancelled my subscription over 3 years ago. Charged my card on file, sent it to an address I have not lived at for over 2 years. I called and talked to 2 separate reps and both said they cancelled and would refund. Neither did. Now I'm forced to dispute it with my bank. As a business owner myself, I consider this to be terrible customer service.
