Review Time
Bought a case as a gift at full price as had used first time discount previously. Somehow presumably via some very small print I was signed up to their £25 monthly payment. Previously a good business by all accounts. Assume they are in financial difficulties if they are resorting to these sort of tactics. Avoid
My daughter had a very disappointing experience with her order not delivered in time for Christmas. Still, I decided to start to save for a nice case of wine for a birthday month. Twice now my case has been delayed. All I get from Naked Wines is apology emails. Only use if you're prepared to be disappointed and have to run out to Majestic Wines for your occassion.
Have really enjoyed the wines from here but the customer service is currently appalling. Order has been in the warehouse ready for dispatch for a week now. £6.99 for delivery and every day I receive an email apologising that they haven’t sent it. No actual reason, and no sign of me ever receiving this order. Have since cancelled my subscription before I lose any more money.
I've been an Angel for 10 years. The wines are consistently good but in the last 12-18 months the service has been going downhill. Increasingly deliveries are delayed whether you set (purchase) a specific slot or not. Little explanation or attempt to make amends. I'm losing my patience.
We have been loyal customers of Naked Wines for almost 2 years. Unfortunately, for the last 6 months the service has deteriorated significantly. The last 3 orders we made, we experienced a delay of almost a week on all of the orders without any compensation or proper apology. Unfortunately, we are considering changing our wine provider
I joined Naked wines only bc I had a £50 3rd party voucher from work to use. The opening joining 6 bottle offer is very well priced but other than the Angel discount you get as a subscriber the bundles on offer are too expensive and not in the price range to affird it in the monthly budget for a mid earning couple. The wine is fantastic but the price point isn't IMO.
I have been buying from Naked Wine for more years than I care to remember and I have never had a significant problem. The two minor difficulties I have had relate to the delivery company and not Naked.Only once have I been disapointed by a wine and I was given a refund, as they promise.When I have contacted Naked by email I always receive a helpful and genuine response.I don't buy wine anywhere else (unless I have inadvertantly run out!) and I intend to use Naked Wines for the foreseeable future.Cheers!
