I purchased a VW Polo from NVS on 15/11/25. The car had a fault with the air conditioning and heating system which Mr. Barclay wasn't aware of. I bought it in a rush and in good faith. Mr.Barclay told me to fix it and he would reimburse me the money. He didn't want me to do it through the Pinnacle Warranties because of the paperwork. I naively did it. After lots of text messages, calls and emails, he hasn't reimbursed me the money. I tried to claim the money from the warranty but they don't pay back for the job done. He told me that he wanted to help me and that he would take the car and fix it but he hasn't done it. He also told me to use the warranty because the big fault hasn't been sorted yet. It is the end of February 2026 and still no news from him! He is ignoring my emails hoping the problems will disappear. Beware of this unscrupulous trader that the only thing he cares about is profiteering!
I bought a car from NVS in October. The advert stated that the only issue was the roof opening only halfway. This was completely misleading.From October to December, I had to take the car to the garage multiple times just to make it driveable, spending a significant amount of money on repairs on top of the purchase price. The car had numerous serious issues that were never disclosed.There was water inside the car, with electrical wires sitting in puddles of water, which is extremely dangerous. Some wires had clearly been cut (ensure why), putting my safety at risk. The windscreen was cracked, which was also not mentioned at all in the description.The list of problems is far too long to include here.When I raised these issues with the person who sold me the car, he said he would speak to the team. Instead, he copied and pasted a generic response (clearly from ChatGPT) and dismissed the problems as “minor,” which they absolutely were not.The car was sold with a three-month guarantee, and he initially said he would help financially. However, as soon as I told him the actual cost of the repairs, he stopped responding.This has been an incredibly stressful and expensive experience. I will contact you with the invoice. Thanks
My wife’s daughter’s car broke down shortly after purchasing the garage travelled down without any inconvenience to them collecting and returning it a week later having all been fixed Due to not having time to clean the car of which we never expected to be done in first place My daughter was given £20 cash to get it cleaned
