I am really disappointed. I purchased a one-year subscription in 2024, not realizing it would automatically renew, and I was charged 1,000 DKK. I did not receive any email reminder, which meant I couldn't cancel before the renewal. As a student with limited financial resources, this amount is significant for me, and the company has refused to issue a refund.
I have used this app for almost a year. It has not failed me. I am a practicing Catholic and I would suggest this app to anyone wanting to delay/plan pregnancy. I have multiple sclerosis and I am not supposed to become pregnant when taking a medication used to treat it. This app is very accurate and convenient. I find using a thermometer is more work and requires me to think about when I get up in the night and my sleep schedule. I would recommend the wearable devices because it is less work and more convenient.
Been a loyal user of their service for 7 years and very not happy about a subscription price jump by 125% YoY (£39.99 becoming £89.99!) based on very minimal communication from the company. The email that got sent to the users to notify about the price increase was titled 'Your Natural Cycles Account' - how is this good communication?! It should have been super clear in the tag line that 'Your Subscription Price is About to Change' or something along those lines at the very least, not a stealth email in the age when everyone receives 50+ messages a day! I see that I am not the only one reacting to this NC's move in this way - makes it hard to justify paying for this service when decent alternatives are abundant.
I have used natural cycles for almost 2 years now to prevent pregnancy. I have loved not being on any hormonal medication or device for my contraception and have seen a real difference in myself. Learning about my cycle has been fascinating and I really like getting to understand my habits and moods during the different phases of my cycle. The app is easy and the interface is aesthetically pleasing and simple to understand. Would recommend Natural cycles to any period-having human :)
