Outrageous price increase and refusal to provide refund.I wasn’t even aware my subscription was a forced renewal and £89 has just come out of my account with them refusing to renew. I have no need to use the app and feel this is completely unjust. They claimed they had emailed me however no notification on the app and my emails are blocked from third parties as it’s a work email. While I appreciate it needs to be a profitable business, women certainly shouldn’t be forced to a subscription they didn’t know was in existence and there is absolutely no reason refunds can’t be provided if the app is no longer wanted.
Thank you for your response, but I have to be clear: this price increase is not just “frustrating,” it’s outrageous. For a company that claims to be dedicated to women’s health, raising costs in this way feels exploitative and dismissive of the trust users have placed in you.The language about “value” and “investment” rings hollow when the reality is that you’re making an essential health tool less accessible to the very people you claim to serve. Women’s health should never be treated as a premium commodity, and dressing this up as “supporting the community” only adds insult to injury. It is hard to reconcile your stated mission with actions that so clearly prioritize profit over accessibility. To many of us, this doesn’t feel like support — it feels like betrayal.I urge you to reconsider the direction you are taking, because no amount of “new features” can compensate for undermining the trust and goodwill of the people who rely on you.
Unfortunately it’s just not useful if you are a sufferer of insomnia and I did find that it took me a really long time to get readings from the thermometer in the morning because it was just not a good piece of kit. Would have to try several times to get it connected, finding a reading and communicating that reading to my phone which is relatively up to date. It felt like such a battle at 4am in the morning! The customer care team was good but took an awfully long time to reply and I didn’t feel there was due warning for the subscription renewal because where the email reminder must’ve gone into my junk mail, I received no notification from the app either and I got stung for another £90 with the app now ironically deciding to notify me of every second in the day since since 🙄. Really just not up to scratch for the cost of it I’m afraid and in my opinion dis-honest about how well it would work along said any existing conditions like insomnia 😕. Really disappointed because I thought it would be the answer to a pill alternative and something that has been a struggle to cover the cost of this month having had that money taken with essentially no warning.
Started using NC after being on the pill for 10 years. I decided I wanted my body to feel like my own again but needed an alternative contraception method. I also have PCOS which makes tracking periods really tricky however NC is spot on every month! There’s so many useful articles to read and I’m learning more and more about my cycle every day.
