My initial step was to visit urgent care, where a CT scan revealed the issue. Unfortunately, my claim was denied due to the lack of prior authorization for CT scans. The facility has a window of 72 hours to submit this authorization, but as a new user, I was unaware until it was too late. Each time a doctor submitted a bill, it was rejected as it fell outside the 90-day window. Many medical facilities are significantly delayed in their billing processes, making resolution nearly impossible. Additionally, most providers seemed unfamiliar with how to handle billing for this service. My experience with customer support was incredibly frustrating. Luckily, I managed to obtain legitimate insurance before needing serious surgery, which processed claims without any issues. The previous service cost over $600 per month, while the legitimate insurance was $1,000 per month without a subsidy, and it was infinitely better.

I wish there were an option for negative stars. I was sold this membership based on claims of 'values' and that they genuinely care for their members. However, when it came down to it, the service had numerous escape clauses to avoid paying claims. Their website even quotes a verse about carrying each other's burdens, yet the only burden they seem to carry is the countless negative reviews stemming from an unethical board that profits while leaving members with overwhelming hassles and medical bills. Stay away from this scam!
I have been waiting over seven months for a reimbursement check, and despite calling more than ten times to follow up, nothing has been resolved. The representatives are friendly, but when I needed a reimbursement, I felt completely abandoned. I cannot recommend this service to friends and family due to their inadequate support.
I wish there was a negative star option. Be cautious; this insurance provider is ridiculous. They claim to have a vast network, but it took a year for them to approve an emergency knee surgery. The number of calls I made was absurd. Now, for a second unrelated surgery, they have denied my claim, and I’m told the appeal process will take 30 days. I cannot wait to be free from this service, and I caution others against them.
This service makes changes without informing clients. They started charging extra for credit card payments without any warning. Claims have been rejected for 'no coverage' despite having coverage. I can’t even see the necessary information until everything is completed, and even service representatives cannot provide updates. Benefit plans and prescription plans change frequently without notice.
