No communication or answer to my enquiry.
Other than that plates I ordered are fine and I will probably order some more but it’s not next day delivery.
I ordered a cabinet on 10th January and have still not received it. It looks like dpd have somehow lost it. I realise this is not Next Day Catering's fault, however after emailing them multiple times I am now receiving no response from them to rectify the situation. It is Next Day Catering's responsibility to sort his out with DPD and refund me or send another one. I’m now over £200 out of pocket with no one attempting to resolve the situation.
So I ordered a canopy. So.close to.spending 1000's but just wanted to get the canopy in a done so took out all other items thank god & placed the order.
Took them 24 hours to process the payment & 6 days for them to message stating they are refusing delivery until they get a copy of a council tax bill & company numbers & addresses. Items id never give to anyone unless im apply for a loan or a credit card. So I ask for a refund. As the item should have well been dispatched nevermind refusing delivery
15 days later still waiting 🤣. Its a good job I have the money to build a commercial kitchen 🙃 & the money they have kept is not needed to carry on work.
Imagine working on a budget a because a company spat its dummy out over someone not wanting to hand over credentials that could potentially be used for fraud they with hold your money for weeks putting you behind costing you god knows how much. So glad I didn't get ahead of myself.
& like said in the email very stupid business practices. The canopy was the first thing I ordered. I needed to equip an entire kitchen amazon now has 50% of the money i had to spend now. The rest will follow
STAY AWAY FROM NEXT DAY CATERING ! Never purchase anything from a company that threatens to take 25% of your money as a restocking fee 🤣. Businesses wonder why people shop on amazon & ebay.
If you have had a 25% re stocking fee taken from these scammers & you asked for a refund within 14 days get your bank to do a charge back.. maybe look into a bit more complain to trade & standards or if the items they sent are damaged or not as described might have longer than 14 days I'm not sure but I am sure I'll never use NEXT DAY CATERING EVER AGAIN !
The worst company to have ever ordered from I only wish I had read the reviews before paying for an item that still hasn’t been delivered. Multiple emails and calls with no success avoid them save yourself the money and time trying to reach them.. going to have to go to trading standards as I want my money back
I ordered a prefab unit on 18/12/25, and it still hasn't been delivered as of 24/01/26. I've attempted to reach out to the supplier numerous times, but no one answers the phone or responds to emails. I'm very frustrated about losing nearly £2000 paid by credit card, and the credit card company has mentioned that the payment recall could take up to 4 weeks!
I want to clarify that the issues I faced were not my fault, but rather between the service and their supplier, yet they have made it my issue! I placed an order 12 days before Christmas for two taps, which were low-cost items, but I still paid nearly £42. After what felt like an eternity, I received the wrong taps, which were not even similar to what I ordered! When I called them, I was instructed to send an email. In response, they requested an image of what I received and an item part number. I reluctantly provided the image but didn't have the part number. The same representative questioned my ability to see the part number. All I wanted was for them to collect the items and issue a refund. It has now been over four weeks since I placed my order, and I have not received a refund. They are asking me to package the incorrect items, send more images of them, and be available for collection, yet they will not provide a postage label! I have used this service before, but I will not be returning.
This has been one of the most frustrating supplier experiences I've encountered. I placed an order for a fridge but received no dispatch confirmation, delivery updates, or meaningful communication. My repeated attempts to reach the customer service team by phone were futile — the number either doesn't connect or is completely ineffective. Emails went either unanswered or received dismissive, generic replies citing “high volumes” and holiday demand. Rather than addressing the issue, the company consistently relied on vague website language, claimed to serve “millions of customers,” and made no effort to resolve a simple cancellation request. After I formally cancelled the order, the refund was still not processed, forcing me to escalate the situation. Being busy is not an excuse for: • Unreachable customer service • Ignored cancellation requests • Withholding customer funds • Dismissive and arrogant responses If this is how they treat customers who actively follow up and document everything, I can only imagine how unresolved issues are managed. I have now had to involve my bank and consider reporting this to the appropriate authorities — a step that should never be necessary for a basic online order. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, avoid this company. There are far better suppliers who actually communicate and fulfill their obligations.
