Visited the Toowoomba store intending to purchase the Everly 4.5 and 3 seater lounges.
However, we left due to a male salesperson’s aggressive and erratic conduct.
After enquiring about warranty and delivery, my husband made a brief comment regarding the delivery cost. The salesperson immediately became confrontational, raised his voice, stated “we don’t haggle in here”, gestured with his arms, and abruptly walked away mid conversation.
After we left and entered another store within the centre, the salesperson came out into the shopping area and appeared to be looking for us. As we were preparing to leave in the car park, I observed him watching us, as we drove away, he made an offensive hand gesture.
This behaviour was intimidating, highly unprofessional, and entirely unacceptable.
I went to the store to buy lounges feeling excited, left the store feeling intimidated and scared.
This is the short version of what happened!
I made a written complaint and subsequently bought the lounges online.
I will never enter or even go to the shopping centre where Nic scali is.

I ordered online for chairs I had not seen in person. I was regularly notified by text about the status of the delivery process from then until they were delivered. The delivery person was very friendly and helpful. The chairs were better than I realised and I love the colour.

I’m giving Nick Scali 1 star which is for the staff who sold me the couch they were lovely. However the post sale customer service by their head office is deplorable. I’ve had 2 different switches go and the lounge is not 4 years old. No pets or kids in the house so the lounge doesn’t get rough treatment at all. When I lodged an enquiry online asking who to contact to get the second switch fixed I was promptly told the lounge was out of warranty and they couldn’t help me. I was only asking for a recommended repairer in my state. They then sent me the name of a leather repairer in another state. Not even a suitable switch repairer . It’s become obvious that their lounges are cheap imported rubbish which they then falsely advertise as being a quality product. Never again will I buy one of their lounges.

Bought a brand new leather lounge suite from Nick Scali West Gosford. Within 7weeks the leather stretched and ‘pooling’ of the leather made the lounge look years old. After contacting NS they sent out an “independent contractor” to assess. From the moment he entered it was clear his job was to isolate NS from any warranty claim. He measured the stretch in one of the seats and it had stretched 60mm in seven weeks, which according to him was normal. He then showed us the trade tricks to tuck in the stretch to make the lounge ‘look new’, IT WAS NEW.
True to form NS denied warranty responsibility.
Learned my lesson, hopefully others will learn.
DO BUY FROM NICK SCALI.

I wish I read online reviews before we purchased our bed frame and beside tables. Sales staff were excellent and it appeared that they will help us to exchange bedside tables for the two smaller versions at a charge, but sadly they would not agree to sell the smaller tables at the same sale price that they were on in January, not even a week from the time we bought our furniture items.
As a result I will now try to sell all three items online and will definitely not buy any other furniture at Nick Scali. A friend did ask me why am I buying furniture from them as they are known as a cheap brand. But I already got our items delivered.

In-store experience followed by online order due to location

I checked the items in-store before opting to order online, as I needed to take measurements at home. The staff member in-store had a rather casual attitude, trying to be humorous, which felt a bit off. There were some communication issues regarding the delivery arrangements through texts and emails. On the positive side, the products are fantastic—two lovely new lounge suites. Additionally, the delivery team was exceptional: they were friendly, professional, and on time, even traveling from the mainland to Tasmania. These two young men are definitely a valuable asset.

Exceptional Experience from Start to Finish

The entire journey from placing the order online, making the payment, to the communication regarding delivery, along with the promptness and professionalism of the delivery team, was outstanding. We are thoroughly enjoying our new lounge!
