I ordered shoes on sale and they sent me the wrong size. I called "customer care", which is a joke. When the AI agent finally transferred me to a human, I asked if I could exchange the shoes or if there's anything else I can do. This man was so rude I actually hung up to avoid blowing up at the support staff. He was reading responses from a script like "our sale policies are very clear". This has been absolutely un-f***ing-believable. I feel like I got scammed and that was surprising for a Nordstrom brand, but I guess they've gone down hill fast.
Terrible! I ordered a pair of booties on line from what I thought was Nordstrom Rack - The clerk and then the store manager kept saying "Oh this was a purchase made thru Market Place!" which is why it took forever to find the sale. Not blaming them but I am blaming NORDSTROM RACK - it seems Market Place means that they did not actually have this item in stock but rather passed it along to a "3rd party" seller. This means that I could not return it to the local Nordstrom Rack - I need to go entirely out of my way to a mall I hate - Towson Mall - creepy dark and confusing parking garage-- and 17 miles out of my way to return these booties. I am a very seasoned online shopper. Had I known all this up front I would have never ordered.
My visits to the store are consistently special due to the attentive staff who genuinely understand customer service and are always polite and efficient. For instance, today, the representatives provided me with excellent assistance, leaving me very pleased. This has always been my favorite store, and I can't help but share my positive experiences with others. I will definitely continue to return. Nothing compares to this store.
I made an online purchase and applied all the notes and the promo code, but the system processed my order without confirming my address or payment method, removing all my notes and discount code. The customer service representative was unhelpful. After requesting a supervisor, I was told that adjustments would be made after shipping, but I doubt it will happen. What has happened to customer service in this country? It used to be excellent, and now it feels like a hassle everywhere.

I visited a local store to return candles I had bought, only to be told they belonged to the beauty section and were non-returnable. The manager was rude and kept pointing to the return policy without clarifying that candles were considered beauty items. Nothing indicated on the receipt that they were final sale. I’m within my return window and now stuck with unwanted candles. I've been a loyal customer for years, but I won't shop here again due to this treatment.
I ordered two purses online, but they arrived carelessly packed in a polybag. One purse still had the security alarm attached, so I need to visit the store to get it removed. In the past, my online orders were handled with care, but now it seems they have become careless.
Every time I shop on their website, I encounter problems like late deliveries and items being out of stock. When products go out of stock post-purchase, it would be nice to receive a discount code for future orders. I prefer to pay higher prices elsewhere rather than deal with this again. This upcoming Black Friday will be my last purchase from this company.
