Review Time
We were searching for extendable teak tables and found Oceanic Teak Furniture online, they had exactly what we were looking for, unfortunately I waited too long to order the tables and they were no longer available, only the whole dinning sets. We ended up ordering 2 sets the the 120 extendable tables which included 20 chairs and thick seat cushions. I was a bit nervous ordering sight unseen the price seemed unbelievable good, but for 2 sets it still was a lot of money for us. We went ahead and placed our order and our 2 dining sets arrived well packaged, and on time. The tables are beautiful sturdy, well made and exactly how described on the website. Extensions of each table work very smooth and are easy to extend. The chairs are easy to assemble and are sturdy and well made. We already got many compliments on our new 2 teak dining sets. This is an update to my first review: The furniture arrived as promised on time and was overall good quality and in good condition. However, half of the nuts and washers were missing, so I could not put the table together. I emailed them about it, they apologized for it being missing, and said they would expeditiously send me the rest of the nuts and washers. Though it took them time to resolve the issue they eventually did resolve it and send me the right amount of nuts and washers. I had since stained the table and chairs with a natural stain that I recommend as it is food grad safe "XTREME GARDEN BOX SEALER" which seals the wood. It came out beautiful. I changed my score to 4 because the overall result was good and the product was sent on time, so overlooking the minor aggravation, this company does a good job.

Taking a chance with an online purchase and having never ordered from Oceanic Teak before, we have taken delivery of two steamer loungers with a table and cushions. To say we are impressed is an understatement, the quality of wood/hardware and fit and finish is exceptional. Shipping was uneventful with consistent tracking information, so overall, it's been a very satisfying experience. Highly recommended...
I bought the sofa set (2023) and liked it enough to buy the dining set (2024) also. After the 2024 season, we found a few burnt holes in the cushion covers from embers from the fire pit. The distance would be a standard distance. I called Oceanic Teak to see if it sells replacement cushions. The answer is NO but we could buy new cushions at $150 a piece. Customer Service also replied that the company offers a guarantee for its products but not for cushions. I asked if I could buy the fabric, the answer was again NO. Buyers should be aware that the fabric is flammable.
I purchased several pieces of outdoor teak furniture in February 2018. Last month, the rubber wheels on our teak loungers began to deteriorate and we no longer working properly. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful and friendly. They offered to replace all the wheels at no charge which I found exceptional since it was 6 years since my original purchase. Great company that stands behind fantastic furniture quality. Can't recommend enough!
I asked for a ‘window’ of delivery dates into the future. They sent me a most pleasant personal email confirming the date I’d requested and it duly arrived on that day. The product is excellent and beautifully finished. The instructions for assembly were very clear and it took minimal time to fit it together. The item was excellent value for money.A very good company to deal with and I fully recommend them.
