Great teacher, couldn't have asked for better
Gabriel was our teacher for the Odoo PLO and honestly couldn't have asked for better. He knows his stuff, explains concepts clearly, and never makes you feel bad for not knowing something — he just explains it in a way that works. Super friendly throughout. Solid 5 stars.
Didn't receive what I paid for. Anti-consumer practices including a strict no refund policy which is refused tooth and nail when you don't receive what you paid for. Any staff support takes their sweet time. Numerous hidden costs— including staff support costs sold separately and ridiculously overpriced. False advertising— the platform is advertised without showing the complexity or advanced mess that is all the settings and configurations that require deep knowledge or a steep learning curve and constant maintenance. Paid for the highest plan. Didn't get what I paid for. Have been stuck in the trial for the entire billing cycle. Manager never got back to me when I asked for a manager and was informed that a manager would reach back to me. Will not spend another penny on Odoo ever again.
We had a fantastic experience working with Andrew on implementation. He took the time to learn our processes and helped us determine the best ways to utilize Odoo for our unique manufacturing situation. Odoo as a platform has exceeded my expectations and has so many out of the box features and allows for automations or custom actions that can extend it beyond standard operations. Do not expect the implementation to be done for you, there was still a ton of work put in by our team to ensure success, but we certainly felt like we had a great partner in the process and are quite happy with the resulting system.
After waiting two weeks, we finally received a reply about a serious problem with our inventory management system. By then, we had already had to hire external specialists to fix the issue at extra expense.
What’s the point of offering support services if they provide little value when it matters? This isn’t just subpar support – it’s entirely unacceptable for a system that is critical to our business.
As we clearly outlined in our initial communication, the problem was not with our system configuration. Your own update service on the website was malfunctioning, consistently sending us test versions instead of the necessary production update – despite several attempts to address it.
For a provider of enterprise software, this level of support is simply insufficient. Businesses that depend on your systems for daily operations deserve much better.
We have been using the service for a year. Recently, I reached out via email expressing our interest in switching to an annual plan for developer access to build modules more efficiently. A week later, I was informed of a 20% increase in monthly prices unless we opted for the annual plan, which felt like a bullying tactic. After some discussions, the support team remained unhelpful, offering yearly subscriptions that were far from their introductory rates, with no flexibility on pricing. If they aim to attract customers who support their product, they should seriously reconsider their customer support experience. We are simply asking for fair pricing similar to what is offered to new users. Avoid this service if you dislike poor customer support that traps you with pricing issues.
I've faced numerous issues since starting the plan. I chose the basic option and was promised full support, but my business advisor misrepresented the plan and often fails to respond promptly. I feel my investment has been wasted, and I cannot recommend this service to anyone. I truly regret signing up.
This software has undoubtedly been my worst decision as a business owner. The initial offer seems appealing—open-source, low cost, customizable. However, the reality is vastly different, especially for small businesses. This is not user-friendly software. Despite my tech-savvy background, I find it extremely complex. The user experience is confusing, and I've been waiting three weeks for my data backup due to a technical issue preventing me from accessing it myself. The only reason I managed to use it for this long is that we had a consultant guiding us. After two years of adjustments, I still find it baffling. If you're a small business owner, avoid this software—there are many other tools out there that prioritize customer experience and design.
