Review Time
Ordered a cotbed end of October. Was sent email few days later saying out for despatch. Almost three weeks later still waiting for an update regarding despatch or delivery from this company or the supplier they get stock from. Very poor communication and wasting a lot of time when we need this product soon. Really dissappointing and won't be ordering from this website again and will choose a company with better delivery options.

I bought two Callowesse stairgates in June 2023 (one standard, one narrow). One arrived broken and one didn't fit the space (even though I measured and ordered the correct size as per the website instructions). I complained via email and asked if I could send them both back for a refund so I could buy from elsewhere but they wouldn't let me do this - I was sent a replacement for the broken one, but was told I had to spend more money purchasing an extender for the one that didn't fit (though I followed their measurements). Both stairgates were up for just a few weeks before my then 16 month old worked out how to open them. I've had to tie them shut ever since every time I've needed to contain my toddler temporarily. Since then they've never quite fit the spaces properly and can slide around, and now one doesn't even click shut anymore. I wish I'd never bought them! They've never been fit for purpose. I've tried to leave 1* reviews for the products on their website but it won't let me do it, which is just so wrong.Stairgates are supposed to be a tool to enable you to keep your children safe and these have just never done that. Overall a really disappointing experience and I wouldn't ever buy from this company again.
