I did not place my order directly with Obaby.I ordered a wardrobe from Oliver’s Baby Care on 22 January and was repeatedly told by them to contact Obaby regarding delivery.When I contacted Obaby, I was initially told they had the order and that delivery should be by Friday. When I called again, I was then told they had no information about the order at all.I was also advised by Obaby to cancel my order with Oliver’s Baby Care and re-order directly with them, which was not a realistic or acceptable solution after weeks of waiting.This placed the responsibility on me to resolve an issue between two companies I did not choose to contract with. The information provided was factual inconsistent and unhelpful, leaving no clarity on whether the order existed or would ever be delivered.The baby has now been born and the nursery remains incomplete due to the lack of clear communication and accountability.I would advise others to be cautious where responsibility between retailer and supplier is unclear and customers are directed elsewhere to resolve issues.
