Review Time
I usually refrain from posting reviews unless something feels particularly off and could benefit others. Unfortunately, this is one of those instances. I arranged and prepaid for off-site airport parking through a service, with the parking location being a hotel near the airport. I received confirmation, including a shuttle pickup phone number and operating hours. Upon returning to the airport, I called the provided shuttle number, only to hear a recording instructing me to contact the hotel for shuttle assistance. I tried reaching the hotel, but no one picked up, and another recording directed me back to the shuttle number. After an hour of waiting outside, I finally got someone at the hotel desk. They told me to wait for the shuttle driver to call and that the shuttle would arrive soon. After nearly another hour of waiting, I still hadn’t heard from the driver. Realizing the situation was problematic, we opted to take a taxi to retrieve our car. This experience with the service was frustrating and time-consuming, as confirmed by other shuttle providers at the airport. Just as we were leaving the airport area, we received a call from the shuttle service asking if we needed a pickup. After returning home, I checked the service on a consumer complaint website and found numerous similar issues. I hope sharing this helps others in the future.
I secured my parking and made an advance payment for my Christmas trip to CA earlier this week. Today, four days later, I received a call informing me that the staff at the location had overbooked and had to cancel my reservation and refund my payment. I have been unable to locate any parking nearby that matches the price I would have paid at another site when I made my booking. I am incredibly frustrated and let down.
The rate was great and our vehicle was safe in the provided parking lot at Sonesta Hotel. The problem arose while we were returning home. Between connecting flights, we received a message that there would be no shuttle available and we would need to arrange for our own transportation from BNA to the hotel. Our flight wasn't due in until 9pm and we had been up since 5:30 AM. This was not something I needed to deal with last minute. Besides our payment to OnAir Parking was to include shuttle service do why should we now have to pay for an Uber or a Lyft? Oh and FYI, while it saves 24/7 service, the very kind front desk agent at the hotel had to arrange for an Uber on the front end as we were to be at BNA at 3:30 am and the hotel's shuttle service wasn't available. But again it should have been OnAir Parking's responsibility to get us there.
What is greatness?For me it’s doing the job you said you’re going to do exactly as promoted or promised.I parked my car behind Clarion hotel as I was instructed to do. I paid online.I left it for a week.I returned to Asheville Airport and On Air Parking sent me a text instructing me to call a number and they would shuttle me from the airport to my car. The driver of the shuttle was prompt, courteous, and friendly. Great guy!And I was off to home. Easy, simple and efficient.
