Made a reservation on Open Table for a restaurant in San Miguel Allende for three persons. I received an email confirmation. We showed up 10 minutes early to find the restaurant was closed for an undisclosed period of time. This left us scrambling to find a place to eat during the busy holiday time. Seriously?!

Used it for the first time in Paris to book a resturant, they sent me the confirmation and when i arrived the restaurant told me there was no reservation in my name, what a complete waste of time this website

CEO should resign

Wow. If I were the CEO of Opentable, I certainly would care that the ratings were this low. I have been a member since 2004, and I have NEVER received one benefit from them. Also, almost every restaurant gets above a 4. Ridiculous.

Erroneous No-Show charge

I made a restaurant booking through Open Table, attended on time and paid the bill in full before leaving. Later that day, I received an email from Open Table saying I was a No-Show. I replied to the contrary and they replied they would resolve with the restaurant. However I have now been charged £20 - presumably a No-Show fee. This is completely incorrect and I was not advised of it when they emailed me. I can find no way of contacting them. As the other posts show, this is a dreadful service.

This is a horrible service

This is a horrible service. They have no customer support and promptly block accounts on false pretext of no-show. I tried to contact them several times and you have to use a disgraceful useless bot. They have no care for anyone and they are in breach of Equality Act as they make impossible for anyone with disability to contact them and challenge their lies and poor service. Never use them! Call the restaurant directly instead.

Not trustworthy website

Opentable could not book a table and requested credit card information without needing deposit. The website was very poor and likely used to falsify missed timing of reservation.

Horrible verification process

Horrible verification process. Enter your phone number and password and it sends a verification code. Fine so far, but then it ADDITIONALLY wastes your time sending yet ANOTHER verification code request to your email!! Unprofessional and unnecessary.
